Put it away and come back later. I'm still enjoying the post game, but the level hike was really annoying and I thought they're would be no more encounters with previous generations species. I don't mind trainers having them but in the grass? Caught this one years ago, had it on my team. I never liked even liked this one.

On the other hand, Trainers that actually run from my gaze instead of forcing me into battle? New things in old locations? Mawhile? This is all refreshing.

So, all I can say is trade, raise some low level mons, see how well you can do in Nimbassa's battles without EV training, do some breeding or just put the game away and come back later.

I think the only place Pokémon can go from here is Darker and Edgier, like some of the fics that float around.

Or at least try some other genres. Pokemon Ranger and Mystery Team both did quite well.

The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated.

I'm still waiting for a Pokemon action adventure game or turn-based tactics game...

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon was more fun than I expected to be. I've heard people claim that they have the best stories in the series too.

Taking a break from FE1, for the FE8 draft instead

This isn't a post about improving the series, nor is it about new games to buy. Why does everyone assume that?

[up][up] Actually, Pokemon Black And White actualy has a really good plot.

And one of the cruelist, most heartless villains in a nintendo game ever.

The conversation segued into how to make the series better, so it's acceptable.

and I thought they're would be no more encounters with previous generations species.

That was only for the main story. They said there would be encounters post game. It's been like that in most of the generations.

Lesee, improving Pokemon. Make the designs of the Pokemon less terrible. No random encounters. Have better game balance.

Ohoho! Quite an original thought that I'm sure no one has ever thought of before! Truly a genius amongst us!

...

I don't think I need to pothole for that.

I didn't find Mystery Dungeon that much fun, but it was definitely a good idea. However, what I would like to see is some sort of real time battle system implemented in a spin off. Like Brawl or the Tales series, assign a move to B, side B, up B, and down B and go wild. And I'm surprised they haven't made a strategy RPG yet, they have all of the tools available.

As much as I'd love it, the spritework for a 649-character fighting game would be a bitch. Same with doing it in 3-D. I could maybe see an action-RPG for the original 151 mons or a similarly-sized group of popular mons from all generations, though.
