A Game of Gods: Infinities

Hello there! troydenite, sub-GM, at your service. Thanks for taking an interest in our game! Now, I'm not fully up-to-date on TWGOK - in fact, I'm quite behind. But I have seen Lune in her first few appearances, so I have some idea of what she's like. Even if it is a bit fuzzy.

Right, just a few clarifications. Firstly, could I have an idea of what the magic of Old Hell involves? It's never fully defined in the manga, at least not to my knowledge, so I'd like to know what you think she'll be able to do. Secondly, if she is accepted, Infinities is very much focused on building a team dynamic. Kinda. Maybe. Hopefully. Anyway, there's a whole bunch of characters thrown into various situations in which they usually have to work together, so I'd appreciate it if she didn't go around stabbing people for the hell (ahah) of it. Just putting it out there.

Well, the Old Hell spells aren't really explained in the manga, so I'd most likely only use those I've seen her use or recognize. So far, I've seen her use her boxcutter as a small explosive device, as a parasitic worm that keeps cutting its way through the victim's body by itself (best way I could explain it, sadly), and even as Razor Floss. She was also able to recognize a barrier spell, so she might know how to use it as well. As for the assassination curse (which she can apply to knifes), I think I'll leave that one out. Maybe.

And don't worry. She won't try to stab everyone (unless she sees them as an actual obstacle to whichever goal she might have). That's the main (and I think only) reason why I've seen her stab herself in the first place. In fact, I've seen more bandages on her body than people stabbed by her. I'm not saying she'll be the perfect teamworker, or that she won't try to stab anyone or anything ever (you know, because laziness and evil and stuff), but she should have no problem following directions and helping out if the situation calls for it.

Nope, OCs aren't allowed. The only exception is Armani.

Armani's not an OC, technically. He is actually from someone else's fanfiction and even then, TV Tropes Noob got special permission to use him from the GMs

Armani is a character from a fanfic. There were intense negotiations behind closed doors.

4G: that's the definition of an OC — he's not a canon PJ character. But, as we've both noticed, he's a special exception.

He's not OC how the game means it, in that I made him up. He can be someone ELSE'S OC, as long as he's not yours

Also, he does indeed have his canon — the broken bow canon, and isn't an OC to his home verse as such. I suppose you can say that in terms of explicit details, the no OC rule here means that whatever character you put in, if their inherent canon is AGOG and nothing else, then that character can't be accepted. Armani has canon outside of here

Even someone like Kribnefka, who was allowed in when the rules were very loose and who was actually a creation of his RPer, existed outside AGOG, I believe.

Indeed. Anywho, OC's that aren't your own aren't against the rules to sign up with, just go under more scrutiny than normal

It's a case by case basis.

It used to be a rule that giving characterisations to Featureless Protagonists was allowed too, but that's not the case any more.

Would the Arisen. Silent protag from Dragons Dogma count as an OC? I'm asking because its your standard WRPG fare where you make your own character.

I'd say no because there was a Dovahkiin in Infinities before.

• Name:Rider(Medusa )
• Universe: Fate/Stay Night(After Heaven's Feel)
• Appearance:Casual. Battle Attire.◊
• Personality:Rider's very serious most of the time, usually keeping a professional air about her. She's fiercely loyal to her Master Sakura Matou and those she considers her friends. Though she is very ruthless and will do whatever it takes to survive, and protect what she cares bout, even if it means killing people, a lot of people. Though she only acts in her Master's wishes/best interest. Despite this she can be very lady like, and does have a whimsical side to her, that comes out when she's near people she likes. She's very tall though she's a bit insecure about her height saying that its un-ladylike, and she has a passion for reading books. She could sit and read them all day it doesn't matter what it is though she seems to like fiction and historical books quite a bit. And of course she she loves riding bikes, of all kinds.
• Abilities/Powers:
  • Physical: Rider is very quick and agile, she's at least a few times stronger and faster than the normal human limit. She's capable of easily traversing any terrain using just her body. And fights using twin daggers connected by a chain, that are more like large nails than anything. While they're only moderately useful at close range, she's more comfortable fighting at mid to long range throwing them with great accuracy and using the chains to manipulate them or bind her enemies. Additionally she doesn't fight using her eyes but by using her other senses including the ability to sense magic. It should be noted though that Rider isn't very durable at least by supernatural character's standards. She can be sliced, beat, and blugeoned like anyone else.
  • Cyebele: She has a type of Mystic Eyes that allow her to temporarily petrify her opponents simply by looking at them. She doesn't have anyway of controlling them naturally, and they take quite a bit of Prana to use. They won't work as well on a person the second time around, and won't work at all on people with a significant amount of magical energy.
  • Breaker Gorgon: Her Blindfold is actually a device used to seal her Mystic Eyes so that they don't completely drain her mana causing her to fade away. It can also take the shape of a pair of glasses.
  • Blood Fort Andromeda: A Boundary Feild, an ability that allows you the apply a certain affect to a certain Radius. Andromeda, is capable of affecting an area about the size of a high school campus. Anyone caught in the field is melted and and drained of their life force, this of couse given to Rider and magical energy. However it takes seven days to set up.
  • Bloodsucking: If Rider is in a pinch and in need of energy, she's capable of emulating vampires and drinking the blood of other people for energy.
  • Riding: Like her name suggests Rider's capable of riding just about any vehicle. While she's riding them she can push them to about five times her usual output. Though this puts a proportionate amount of strain on the vehicle. Additionally she cannot decelerate unless she comes to a complete stop.
  • Bellerophon: Her Noble Phantasm and ultimate desperation attack. If Rider's gathered enough energy she's capable of summoning a Pegasus made of divine energy that rams into her opponent, acting like a massive energy blast. She can also ride it. However this takes up so much mana that after one use, even at full charge, Rider won't be able to fight for quite a while. Possibly a day or two.

Obviously when she's low on mana many of these are not available too her, and she's greatly weakened physically.

I think the GMs are a bit wary of all things Nasuverse.

seeing that this is the insanity that could dodge knives thrown at the speed of bullets WHILE BLIND.
