It has been a year since the traitorous creature known as Omega was exiled to a place of void an nothingness. It has been a year since an unlikely group of beings fought their way free from the clutches of their captors, the enigmatic Nomads, who had forced them to take part in a bizarre series of competitions for their own amusement. And it seemed that, for a time, the Nomad's machinations had ended, and the people of the myriad realities were free to live their lives free of divine interference.
They were wrong.
Now, a year after the final Challenge, strange new forces are beginning to conspire. Old and new beings alike will find themselves caught up in a brand new quest for survival and freedom among unlikely backdrops, a quest that will bring them to the edge of... infinity.
Hello, and welcome to the signup thread for A Game Of Gods: Infinities. First of all, thanks for taking an interest in the thread, and I hope you'll sign up for this game. As the old Forum RP hands are familiar with, all the standard rules apply- autohitting, godmodding, ghosting, metagaming, etc. are unacceptable like in any other game.

Challenges
The basic premise of the game is quite similar to last season, with a group of heroes and/or villains taking on challenges, often pitting them against heroes or villains from another universe. To begin with, we will be working through a glut of challenges leftover from the previous round, but after that people will be able to suggest and implement their own challenges.
This season, Two challenges will usually run at once. A secondary challenge will takeplace alongside the primary challenge, giving new layers something to do or an alternative to the primary challenge. This may affect what happens to your character in the long run, so choose wisely!
If you have an idea for a challenge, feel free to consult any of the GMs: Stratofarious, Troydenite and Flanker66. Remember, if nothing else, please try to keep challenges brief and manageable! 2 weeks is the maximum time a challenge should take, and please be sure that you or someone else will be able to see it through to completion.

Universe: Kingdom Hearts, right after Sora defeats him in the Hall of Empty Melodies.
Abilities/Equipment:
- Dual wields a pair of Arrowguns w/ unlimited ammo, but with a slow reload speed.
- Manipulates Space, mostly a Teleport Spam variant to the extreme, firing in an indirect method towards his opponents.
- Uses corridors of Darkness, like his fellow Organization members.
Xigbar and Mehir are accepted. I should really make a list...

Still uncertain as to whether I'll return. That said, I'll put this profile out here if only so that if I do choose to come back, the character(s) that I have in mind won't be snatched up by someone else while I'm making my decision.
Option A
- Name: Jericho Swain (a.k.a., Swain the Master Tactician)
- Appearance: the robed chap in the foreground;◊ the ghastly thing perched on his shoulder is his 'raven' familiar, and that monstrosity in the background is Swain in his transformed state.
- Universe: League Of Legends
- Abilities/Powers:
- Jericho Swain is a sorcerer of considerable power with a number of potent spells at his disposal; all of these are focused on debilitating and weakening his opponents over time, turning any confrontation with this cool and collected officer into a battle of attrition. In addition to his basic magical attack, which consists of launching a small ball of mystical flame at a single opponent, his other abilities include conjuring up a field of eldritch talons over a targeted area to claw at and immobilize opponents for a few moments; blasting a foe with a crackling orb of noxious emerald energy which burns them over time and renders them more susceptible to his other abilities; and having his Raven familiar ensnare a foe with a tether of withering energy, severely hampering that opponent's mobility and sapping their life energy for three seconds or until they manage to get out of the tether's radius (as the bird is immobile while acting as the conduit for this spell).
- Swain's greatest spell, however, is the ability to fuse with his familiar and transform himself into a demonic avian beast. While in this state he is surrounded by a murder of spectral ravens who will swoop down upon and attack anything in his vicinity, and any damage these ghastly carrion birds inflict upon his opponents is in turn transferred to Swain, thereby restoring his health by roughly half that amount. He can transform into and out of this state at will, but maintaining his fiendish alternate form puts a serious strain on his personal mana reserves; for this reason, he cannot remain in this form indefinitely or else he will bleed himself dry and thus leave himself defenseless until his power recharges. The maximum amount of time he can stay in this form, initially, is six seconds; as Swain gains more experience (i.e, paricipates in more and more challenges), however, he will be able to remain in his transformed state for greater spans of time.
- In addition to his sorcerous abilities, Swain is a general in the Noxian military and a member of the city-state's High Command; as such, he is a veteran of many battles and has a keen mind for tactics. Furthermore, while he himself is no stronger or more durable than the average human being, he has an abnormally high tolerance and threshold for pain: as a young child he limped into a clinic under his own power with a leg that had been snapped clean in half, with bone protruding from the skin, and neither cried nor offered any complaint; he did not flinch or even wince when the doctor set his fractured tibia with sand counterweights and popped his fibula back into place either, and during this encounter his calm and collected demeanour did not falter even once. Now that he is a grown man and has had a long and distinguished military career, it can only be assumed that Swain's pain threshold has only grown higher.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is Swain. Keep in mind, however, that I still have yet to make up my mind as to whether or not I will actually be using Swain if I return; I had several other options in mind, and Option B will be posted later, should I feel it necessary. The Danse Macabre Codex
Okay, knowing me I'll probably end up falling off this, but let's be hopeful for a change and see if I can actually keep up for once. >.>

- Appearance: Here~◊
- Universe: Puella Magi Madoka Magica (Just shortly after she becomes a Puella Magi)
- Abilities/Powers: Healing Factor, and the ability to summon as many swords as she needs. As a Puella Magi, she's also stronger, faster and more durable than a regular human, and has limited flight capabilities.

If you return then Swain is accepted, but he's probably pushing the limit of how powerful the champions can be.
