Any suggestions? If someone can get a screencap from the Danny Phantom: Ultimate Enemy movie, I think it could work.
I already searched for a pic with both Danny Phantom and Dark Danny. So far I found nothing...
Didn't we have this thread just a while ago? It had the dude from Heroes, the asian guy with time manipulation powers.
Fight smart, not fair. Not according to the page history.

This implies, quite correctly, that my mind is dark and damp and full of tiny translucent fish.I think that was for Future Badass, actually.
"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaeMy bad. All the threads start running together after a while.
Fight smart, not fair.It would be better if we could see the little ones chest so that they've got the same symbol clearly.
Fight smart, not fair.I don't see how that's any better than the one that was pulled. They have different costumes, hairstyle, and even skin color. Even if they had the same symbol that could just be from being on the same team or something.
Aren't you guys being a bit anal about this? I understand that the image should be largely self-explanatory, but should that be the case ignoring even the title of the article?
The article is Future Me Scares Me. If a boy and a man are the only ones in the picture and the man is obviously hurting the boy, shouldn't that illustrate the trope perfectly without red flashers needed in-picture stating these are the same man?
You might as well say that because Aquaman isn't bruising anyone on the Boisterous Bruiser article, it isn't accurate. Or that Zelda isn't wearing a crown in her Well, Excuse Me, Princess! pictures, so how, oh how, will the reader be sure she is a princess?!
I vote to just put up the Danny picture already, because it is badass, and Dark Danny is scary on a fundemental level.
Only marriage, reciprocity, and beer hold civilization together.^Seconded
Plus if there is ANY confusion I'm sure that can be handled by a simple caption at the bottom. The picture is relevant enough and a good, fitting caption would make it work perfectly.
If you need the title to explain the image, it is a bad image.
EDIT: Besides the fact that the Pic on Boisterous Bruiser isn't even that good, "Bruiser" is used as an idiom here. And "Well, Excuse Me, Princess!" doesn't need to involve princesses, just "Snarky loser hero meets snarky haughty girl."
FURTHER EDIT: Future Me Scares Me seems to be about having a general negative reaction to your future self.

Yeah... That your future self is different in a way that you don't like.
Please.lololol, how did I know atleast one wikinut was going to respond in a "yeah, those are pictures we should go after next" sort of way?
The point is, that even if a picture IS worth a thousand words, that just means that it could represent a hundred tropes. The Danny Phantom picture accurately shows a conflict between identical people of different ages, which is what the trope is about, so someone hurry up and put it on the article! How do we do this? Is there a button somewhere? A switch?
Only marriage, reciprocity, and beer hold civilization together. As an aside: Another problem with the current picture is that IIRC it's actually a spoiler, though not a huge one (it's been a while since I saw that show. As I recall you find out early on, but not so early that it's not meant to be a surprise.)

The Danny photo is shitty as hell. Ignoring the horrible quality the thing is:
We have a white-haired green-eyed brown-skinned boy with normal teeth and ears
figting a
A man with flaming hair, purple eyes, green skinned, vampire teeth and pointy ears.
The only thing they have in common is a similar uniform. I don't know about you, but I would assume, due to similar uniforms, something along the lines of mentor betrayal if anything.
Just because something is an example doesn't automatically make it a good pic. Someone should be able to see the trope, not make an assumptions that the trope is actually in the pic. We don't use Take Our Word for trope pics.
Please.Maybe a pic of Corazo (young girl)◊ and her future self, Bayonetta?
Can we find one of them where the little one is afraid of her? That'll work fine.
Motion to pull because it's not obvious that the guy on the right is from the future, much less the same person as the guy on the left.
