Mostly orderly but when I'm in the mood, it's going to be chaos. After all, you can't out think everyone if you're always doing the same thing.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated.Chaorder!
Just wanted to throw that out.
A different shape every step I take A different mind every step of the lineChaos. It's much more fun.
So, in the U.S., randomly stripping is a signal that you want to sing the national anthem? - That HumanGranted, I really like Chaos, but it doesn't mean the same as what D&D implies. Maybe order and disorder are two sides of the same coin, and the coin is chaos.
Well, D&D Lawful Vs Chaotic, I'm 10,000% chaotic. I wouldn't want it any other way.
I vowed, and so did you: Beyond this wall- we would make it through. It depends on the enviornment. Chaos can sometimes make for a lot of fun if you're just wrecking havoc with your friends in a carefree manor, but any other times I just end up with my nerves shot.
My PM box is always open to anyone who wants to talk/vent.Order... because the universe tends toward chaos and I'm a rebel.
:P
Eh, it's easy enough to be a rebel by being order oriented, so long as you're trying to reestablish order.
The emotions of others can seem like such well guarded mysteries, people 8egin to 8elieve that's how their own emotions should 8e treated.Order, of course. The sanctity of truth cannot stand chaos.
Now using Trivialis handle.Generally, I think that the interesting stuff happens at the border between order and chaos. Both pure order and pure chaos strike me as, well, dull. But the area in which they interact, now that is a nice place.
EDIT:
But ultimately, I find both concepts equivalent.
One one hand, chaos is like an ocean, and order is but a current within it — it does not fight against it in any meaningful sense, nor it could.
But on the other hand, chaos itself follow rules. Everything does, because "not following rules" is a rule in itself. So chaos is, in a way, a sort of order.
Or perhaps, I am just being silly. Could be. I'm not really paying much attention at what I'm writing

But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.Fliegende Kinderscheisse! Hail Eris!
Somehow you know that the time is right.Neutral Good. I'd never do evil to my fellow men... But don't expect me to take any orders. :P
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuOrder unless it doesn't work.
I lean more towards chaos, as I place a high value on freedom and happiness. Yeah, some laws are necessary to keep society from falling apart and to protect the innocent (like Beholderess said), but an excess of law is oppressive, and if a law if unjust, it needs to be done away with. Chaotic Good does not necessarily equal Chaotic Stupid, it's just that a lot of heroes are portrayed that way.
Then again, I guess the fact that I think some degree of order is necessary makes my ideal Neutral Good.

What's the point in giving up when you know you'll never stop anyway? To expand on my previous post, hear (well, read) these words from the Principia:
The Curse of Greyface included the division of life into order/disorder as the essential positive/negative polarity, instead of building a game foundation with creative/destructive as the essential positive/negative. He has thereby caused man to endure the destructive aspects of order and has prevented man from effectively participating in the creative uses of disorder. Civilization reflects this unfortunate division.
POEE proclaims that the other division is preferable, and we work toward the proposition that creative disorder, like creative order, is possible and desirable; and that destructive order, like destructive disorder, is unnecessary and undesirable.
Seek the Sacred Chao - therein you will find the foolishness of all ORDER/DISORDER. They are the same!
NANEY STOLE MY ANSWER, HE'S CHEATING
Naney is like that :p
Devypu's~ Big Pony :3Chaos theory is... interesting, to say the least.
I read part of a book on it once, and it talked about "layers" of order and chaos; on different scales of matter, order or chaos prevailed, and it kept switching...
"Only now, after being besieged by a flock of talking ponies, did he really understand what he'd lost. "I choose balance, as per usual.
"My life is my own" | If you want to contact me privately, please ask first on the forum.Isn't it a bit of an extreme position to always pick balance? If you are really balanced, sometimes you should pick an extreme position.
Which is what you are doing in this case, in effect; so I admit that your position is truly the most balanced one ever.
And this means that it is unbalanced in favor of balance.
But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.I sometimes choose unbalance, but this is not one of those times. And there are very few times when it's one of those times. Hence, "as per usual" and not, "as always"
"My life is my own" | If you want to contact me privately, please ask first on the forum.Ah. OK. Then I have to admit that yours is truly a perfectly, dare I say extremely, balanced position.
But they seem to know where they are going, the ones who walk away from Omelas.
I'm with feo and Milos. Order all the way.
