Nevermind. As soon as I posted, I thought, "wait, that's basically Artemis Fowl, with guns..."

My name is Cu Chulainn. Beside the raging sea I am left to moan. Sorrow I am, for I brought down my only son.But it's so cool!
When I walk on the street counting my steps, magic keeps silent and reality stalks me.Sadly, this didn't attract any interest at all. Still, I'm willing to run it as long as there's people willing to play.
You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.I'm somewhat interested, but I want to wait and see how many people take notice this time around.
I was interested the first time around, but I couldn't come up with a character.
(◕ ヮ ◕)ノThink if I threw up a character, interest might grow?

It's quite likely. Go for it.
I'd like to have six to ten players, but I'm willing to proceed with as little as four.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.Alright, I may have something between today and tomorrow.
Does this mean I can think about a character?
When I walk on the street counting my steps, magic keeps silent and reality stalks me.Sounds interesting.
"Yup. That tasted purple."I found some time, so I'll have a character up within the hour.
- Name: Rebecca Eastwood
- Gender: Female
- Age: 32
- Specialty: Extraction, Urban and Indoor Warfare, Leadership
- Rank: Lieutenant
- History: A former US Army Rangers captain, Rebecca is a combat veteran of various conflicts across the world. The daughter of a middle class family, she joined the army in a fit of rebellion and ended up excelling. After rising through the ranks and earning a command position however, she was dishonorably discharged for failing to obey an order that would have killed some of her men. After her discharge, she cast off her ties to the US and drifted around the paramilitary scene before ending up at RVI Services.
- Personality: She is a stern leader, always trying to get the most out of her subordinates, but she is very protective of those under her command. She herself acts very serious, but lets her sarcasm shine through whenever she feels the need to lighten the mood. She also has very few vices, and tries to keep her body in peak physical condition.
- Appearance: She stands at six feet tall, with olive skin and long black hair tied back. She has visible muscle tone, and has numerous scars across her body. Her eyes are brown.
- Weaponry: Sig Sauer P228 handgun, FN SCAR-H rifle, and a tertiary weapon suited for the mission at hand (a SPAS-12 shotgun, a M14 EBR for Marksmanship, and a M249 LMG)
- Skills: Other than ones previously noted, Rebecca carries three weapons on her at a time, switching between them as necessary to the needs of combat.
- Flaws: She believes that the men come before the mission, and is willing to throw away the mission to ensure their safety. Any burdens they carry, she will often try to put upon herself to ease them at the cost of herself.
- Goals: She only wishes to make a living and a name for herself.
Tell me if I need to fix anything.

We can only hope...
Some relevant NP Cs:
- Name: Hans Miller.
- Age: 36.
- Rank: Executive Officer (XO).
- Specialty: Administration.
- Appearance: A huge, muscular and overweight German man on his late thirties. The top of his head is completely bald, and the back'n'sides sport a short buzz cut to somewhat hide his baldness. He sports a blond Lemmy beard, and huge sunglasses. Hans typically dresses in the standard-issue grey cargo pants, combat boots, a random T-shirt, a baseball cap, a bulletproof vest and an utility belt. Although he's never been deployed, he's got plenty of scars because of his involvement in Mixed Martial Arts a few years back.
- Personality: Hans is a funny guy, pretty much always in the mood for some witty quips, jokes and snarks. He's thorough with the ship's administration, but he's lax when it comes to enforcing rules.
- Skills: He's a resourceful guy. He's also incredibly scary in hand-to-hand combat.
- Weaknesses: Hans is not brave, and he's got no formal military training. Essentially, he's a civvie. He's also got a nasty cocaine habit.
- Goals: Getting rich before 45, spending it all on Hookers and Blow and dyin' of an OD in a whorehouse before 60.
- Weapons: Only a Heckler and Koch PDW submachinegun, standard-issue for all RVI support personnel. Well, that and an electric baton.
- History: Originally a middle manager for a German-based security firm, he got an offer to become what amounts to a glorified quartermaster roughly five years ago. He handles all of the Fortuna's administrative tasks.
- Name: Jade Wong.
- Age: 29.
- Rank: Chief Technical Officer (CTO).
- Appearance: A short, Chinese-American woman. She's got short hair, dyed on an electric blue. She's something of a metalhead, pretty much always sporting a band T-shirt, blue camo pants, and combat boots. Jade has lots of tattoos and piercings. She's got a generally petite frame. She wears glasses.
- Personality: She's prone to Brutal Honesty and very much a Deadpan Snarker.
- Skills: Tech-savvy (that'd be the understatement of the year. Capable of multitasking to no end. Almost never loses her cool.
- Weaknesses: She's abrasive, and the least-diplomatic Voice with an Internet Connection ever.
- Weapons: Uncomfortable with SM Gs, she's replaced the standard-issue HK with a 18-shot, .45 ACP Glock. She also carries a taser.
- History: Originaly US Coast Guard, she was dishonorably discharged when she was discovered feeding patrol information to a Colombian drug cartel. She skipped the States before trial, and she joined a PMC as a tech girl.
- Goals: She viscerally hates her former employers, and the US government in general.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.I'm writing mine right now, but I'm taking a strangely long time...I'll get it up soon :D
When I walk on the street counting my steps, magic keeps silent and reality stalks me.Well, then, hurry up!

By the way, what does it mean by "technical officer" in the ranks section? Is it a specialised rank or is it just a rank above trooper?

When I walk on the street counting my steps, magic keeps silent and reality stalks me.I think it means things like engineers, mechanics, cooks, computer technicians, and others who do some work behind the scenes to make the wheels turn on operations.
All sorts of Technical Specialists are TO: Engineers, comm guys, cooks, gunners (in artillery) and maintenance dudes are all TO.
Their paygrade is inferior to a Lieutenant's, but slightly higher to a Squad Leader. They're answerable to the Chief Technical Officer.
Medics are Medical Officers, and they earn roughly the same as a Lieutenant. They answer to the Chief Medical Officer.
Both Chiefs (and the Executive Officer) answer to the Commander.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.What about a strategist?
When I walk on the street counting my steps, magic keeps silent and reality stalks me.Strategist as a job description?
Probably some sort of Techncical Officer, but they'd have to report directly to the Commander instead of the CTO.

You exist because we allow it and you will end because we demand it.This sounds interesting. I might have to give this a shot. I'll submit a character tomorrow, when I'm less sleepy.
Life is like a game of Mahjong. Sometimes you need to take risks if you want to come out ahead.50:50, but I may get in depending on circumstances.
Been a while since I've played Mercenaries anyway.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"
The premise of the RP is simple: Your characters are mercenaries, part of a private military company...
RVI Services (Rogue Veteran Initiative) is on the shady side of things: They accept pretty much any job that pays off well, and they recruit from all backgrounds: Your characters can be former law enforcement gone merc, former guerrilla or government operatives, former Navy/Special Forces guys, they may come from organized crime and cartels, or they may be technicians or businesspeople with some ad-hoc combat experience. RVI is a small company: They own a single ship (the destroyer Fortuna) an attack helicopter and a survey submarine. Currently, the RVI operates on East Asia, based off a Wretched Hive of a harbor near the Vietnamese-Cambodian border.
Industrial espionage, looting derelict ships, being hired muscle for organized crime, guerrillas, rogue governments or even terrorist organizations. Outright piracy and smuggling... That's what they do on a slow day.
Characters who are not squeamish about those kinda stuff will find that the Initiative pays well and has no qualms on their employees's vices and unsavory habits as long as two essential rules are preserved: They've gotta be able to do their job competently while on duty, and their personal causes, issues and vendettas are to be pursued on their private time on their personal funds.
Anyone up for it?
The sheet format is as follows:
The Roster:
Currently, we're accepting up to two more players.
