Wouldn't be the first time I've disagreed with you on something.
Indeed. I guess Rabbid Peach's humor works exactly as intended for me. If you show me a comically hideous rabbit/gremlin in Peach cosplay, with an outrageous Valley Girl personality, I will smile. Guess we're just different people.
There is something about the game that makes me roll my eyes, though: the fact that you can't jump. I get that no jumping works for the gameplay, but c'mon, that's something both Mario and rabbits are famous for doing. Oh, there's a three-foot gap in a bridge? Guess Mario can't cross that, then!
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?...It's in the Skill Tree.
You can't jump during exploration, is what he meant, I think.
And that's what's kinda strange, especially considering how the Mario RP Gs still let you jump around while on the overworld.
I thought the Rabbids would be annoying, but they're actually fairly charming. You can't help but feel bad for poor Spawny.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectThat is the one Rabbid I can say I like.
He's just a scared little guy who gets taken advantage of, y'know? He just needs a blanket and a hug.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectWhat about Weegee Rabbid...?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Who wants to hear Vinny read excerpts from a couple of prototype Super Mario Bros. movie scripts in his Super Show impressions?
It DOES get a little sexual at times, and there's swearing.

Rabbid Peach is best Rabbid. Those selfies are hilarious, as is how she's a bit possessive of Mario. Though really, all the Rabbids are great in that game.
Prehistoric kingdom has a caveman tunic for Mario to wear.
GRAND DAD confirmed.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!mario has nipples confirmed
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~Civia Can I just say that Cappy's sister Tiara is a friggin' cinnamon roll that needs to protected at all costs?
I like the looks of that jungle/island/rainforest world. And that Yoshi-like flying/gliding lizard Mario body-snatches Captures is freaking adorable. I freaking love it!
Also, Dorrie's back! ...Or at least a purple relative.
And you can play as freaking Dr. Mario. Also, ability to play as Grand Dad confirmed?
Definitely looking forward to seeing what that giant Broodal(?) with the golden Chain Chomp does in a fight.
It's still really weird seeing the cartoony Mario standing next to realistically proportioned humans. It didn't work in Sonic 06 and I don't think it's a good idea here either. That said, everything else about this game, especially the ability to change your outfit, really looks great.
I guess it works here because Sonic expected you to take it seriously, while here with New Donk City it's to illustrate just how foreign the areas you're visiting will be.
Cutely enough, when asked about why Mario looks out of place next to the humans in New Donk the game's director answered by saying
Memes become dreams.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectNew Job as the Plot Demands was kind of a running gag in the early years of the franchise. Mario was a carpenter, plumber, cement factory worker, circus ringmaster, Vietnam War soldier...and this was all before 1985!
I feel like the "plumber" concept caught on because Super Mario Bros. was an expansion of and sequel to Mario Bros., which DID have Mario as a plumber. It explained his clothes and means of transportation via pipes.
Then the non-Japanese media (cartoons, comics, movie, ect.) took the concept and ran with it.
Weird in a Can (updated M-F)Because it still technically counts as a Mario 64 hack, I'll put this here.
But a good hacker is making Smash Bros. 3D:
This is still a work in progress, no release yet. But it looks interesting.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.By the way, does it feel like Super Mario Odyssey is taking more inspiration from the Wario Land series, particularly 3, to anyone else? The CAP-tures are remind me of the transformations, the new character designs are reminding me of the character designs from that series (Particularly the Broodals, and there were two rabbit bosses in the Wario Land series way before them which look similar to them, Dunk and Shoot), the increased focus on coins and losing them instead of lives when you die (Similar to when you get hit in Wario Land 2 and continue in Wario World), the non-standard level settings, how weird some of the enemies and transformations look, levels apparently changing as you progress in the game and certain areas within previous levels opening up, and some of the levels having day and night variants...
So, we now have at least 9 confirmed kingdoms:
1. Metro Kingdom (New Donk City) 2. Sand Kingdom (Tostarena) 3. Luncheon Kingdom (Mount Volbono) 4. Wooded Kingdom (Steam Gardens) 5. Cap Kingdom (Bonneton) 6. Cascade Kingdom (Fossil Falls) 7. Snow Kingdom (Shiveria) 8. Seaside Kingdom (Bubblaine) 9. Unnamed Tropical Island Kingdom
Based on the prominence of the moon on the world map, some people are guessing that might be the final kingdom. Does 12-13 kingdoms total seem about right?
♭What.
If you don't think a rabbit in Peach cosplay is funny, then you and I have nothing to say to each other.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?
