I wish Toad sounded like he did in MK 64.
This may not be Mario related, but seeing it's "Mario Kart 7", I'm putting it under "Mario" anyway...
I'm saw what the Miis have in terms of voices. For Voice 1, use a red, Orange, or a pink Mii. For Voice 2, use a yellow, Light Green, or a Light Blue Mii. For Voice 3, use a Green, blue, or a purple Mii. For voice 4, use a brown, White, or Black Mii.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!What kind of equipment have you unlocked so far?
Just floating around...Mostly racquets, wristbands, and footwear. Currently using the Boo Racquet, the Luigi Wristbands, and the Bullet Bill Shoes.

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!...Looks like I'll have a lot to work with when I get the game... I always liked the "Customize a character" option in games.
Just floating around...Also, I unlocked Dry Bowser. Interestingly, he is classified as a Defense-type character.
(Working on starring him next since I've starred Luigi and Boo.)
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!This may be strange, but is it kinda weird that I never beat the original Super Mario Bros. yet I beat "The Lost Levels"?
Just floating around...Why, a Mario thread, how come I hadn't posted in here already?
Well, the thing is, I want to get a new 3ds game, and I, being a longtime Mario follower, want it to be a Mario one. Initially, I wanted it to be Luigi's Mansion 2, but since it hasn't come out yet, I don't know what to pick. Which one's better, Mario Tennis Open or Mario Kart 7? (I already have 3D Land)

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Since I haven't played a lot of Mario Tennis Open yet, I'd say go with Mario Kart 7.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!That depends on what you like more. Personally, I'd say go for Mario Tennis Open and buy Mario Kart 7 at a later date, but its entirely up to you what you'd like to play more. ;)
On the topic of Mario Tennis Open, I've managed to star some of my characters (Mii*, Yoshi, Bowser and White Yoshi). Apropos Yoshi, I'll go ahead and post the QR-codes for the two different Yoshis available and the Yoshi-Suit:
- Black Yoshi◊
- White Yoshi◊
- Yoshi Suit - that one's a link to the european Mario Tennis Open-site, I don't think that the QR-codes are regionlocked.
The QR codes are region-locked, actually. But the codes get posted online as soon as someone finds them, so little is lost from them being that way. (Australian and European players can use the other's code to unlock things though, or so I've been told.)

Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!D: Aw man... ._. Ah well, at least those codes are really easy to find, its not like with Pokémon where you have to physically attend specific events which are never in Austria anyway. xP
edit: I've just noticed that, if you put in Mario Tennis Open into the search bar, my avatar gets shown besides the links to this thread. o.o Way to go, search engine, frightening players into thinking an anthro has found his way into a Mario-game as a playable character... xP

To be fair, Yoshi is already sort of a mute anthro dinosaur .
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."True that. And then there's Bowser, who is an anthropomorphic dragon/turtle/Ox...-thing. Yeah.
Also, this may be stretching it a little, but you could say the Toad are anthro... fungi .

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."One quick question about Mario Tennis Open...
If you have a different Mii with a different favorite color, does their voice change?
Just floating around...Ehh, Mario Tennis open is a bit lacking in content. But if you haven't played a Mario Tennis game before though, go for it.
You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Mario Tennis Open... hm. Should I even bother getting this game?
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. While it does have a little bit less content than, say, Mario Kart 7 (I think), it's still a pretty good game, I have my fun with customizing my Mii and checking how he plays with different items equipped. ^^
It's a shame, though, that you can't customize the other Mario-characters with different items and clothes. Would've been funny to put Yoshi in a Yoshi-Suit (Yo, dawg, I heard you like Yoshi, so I put a Yoshi in a Yoshi-costume so you can play Yoshi in a Yoshi-costume :P) xD
Hey, is Mario Tennis Open worth getting. I've played the first one once or twice many years ago. But I heard the reviews are kinda average, the game is short and the roster's a bit crap (random Luma instead of Rosalina, baby characters).
Have you guys noticed that all the 3DS Mario games at the moment are quite short?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI think the reviewers are slamming it because they're comparing it to Mario Power Tennis on the GBA, which had a pretty good RPG mode (produced by the guys who made Golden Sun too). Content-wise, it looks similar to Mario Tennis 64.
If you're really really fond of Mario Tennis 64, I'd suggest it.
And the GBC game. But don't ask which one has the better RPG Mode.
I think it plays most similiar to the N64 version, which is a solid game.
