Link your Club Nintendo account to your NNID. That should do the trick. There should be an option for it on the eShop.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Strange, it's offering me the ability to do a post-purchase survey for the Wii U, but nothing is available for my 3DS.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!According to my history, the Wii U is both linked and registered, while the 3DS is only linked.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Disney Infinty is free on the eShop but all you need is the figures and base.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureWait, the base is just for NFC, right? Then why would you need that when the Wii U's GamePad has that function built in?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Because it's not quite the same kind of NFC.
That... makes no fucking sense. Why on earth would anyone- Never mind.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I don't know exactly what the tech is, but with Skylanders and Disney Infinity, I'm pretty sure you have to leave the figure on the base, which obviously wouldn't work with the Gamepad.
The difference is with Infinity/Skylanders, the game's unplayable without the figures.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerWould a Skylanders base work with Infinity, or vice versa?
Doubt it. I think they're both proprietary.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerI remember hearing during this year's E3/Nintendo Digital Presentation that the upcoming Skylanders Trap Team would have some NFC stuff with the Wii U.
Could it be figures, or something else...?
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaThey could possibly have a marketing scheme where one could use the Gamepad scanner for one bonus, but use their own scanner for more.
Multiplayer matches, wherin one person uses the Wii U, and another the other scanner, could be cool.
I have a message from another time...Huh, this definitely benefits anyone who could only get the Wii version. Out of all the console ports, that one couldn't let you upload any worlds you created on the servers. So it's only slightly better than the worthless minigame-laden 3DS version.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Regarding crossovers, I'm actually kind of bummed out by the fact that Gear REX did not become an official monster. Would've been cool to fight that guy up close and personal.

This article shows Shigeru Miyamoto's opinion on passive gamers.

Personally, I'd prefer if the 'net was a little friendlier, but you know the GIFT...Interesting... that article seems to tie into that "Failure is Good!?" video I posted a while back, funny that Miyamoto had a similar revelation. Instead of trying to keep everyone interested, just give the guys who're loyal to the end that heck-of-a-ride they came for.
I like the point of how more passive people aren't going to waste time on something they have to *gasp* put effort into if they want to win, but I think a good game can still manage to hit both targets on the spot. Kirby's Epic Yarn, for example- it's quick and fun to just play levels (you can't die, even), but you also can shoot for medals which can be really Nintendo Hard a lot of the time.
...not that it matters, since they've got their Angry Birds and what-have-you nowadays.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaSo what you're telling me is Miyamoto and Sakurai are polar opposites.
This is good.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerElaborate?
I have a message from another time...Yeah no, I'm entirely against anything that smells even slightly like "filthy casuals." Kinda disappointed in Miyamoto here. I do hope he's just pandering and doesn't actually think like that.
"Pathetic," I mean, come on, seriously? Like "You enjoy media in a way you find comfortable? That's pathetic." Not cool with that.
"We're home, Chewie."
Yes. That's the 11-character serial code, which just extends the warranty. I'm talking about the 14-character PIN that comes in the box.
