What do you want to say about this game?

I thought it had long load times, weird-looking character models and a rather shitty story mode.

Estimated shipping time: 2-4 weeks.

Not just "Rather shitty" my friend. Tekken 6 had the absolute worst story mode of any game ever in comparison to it's normal gameplay. I would love to see more fighting games branch out into beat'em'up territory. I mean it's a natural fit. They just need to make it good territory.

Other than that, kickass. So many characters. So many ways to beat people up. Ridiculously wacky endings. Absurd physics-insulting juggle combos. Plenty of players of multiple skill levels online. And Anna Williams.

Customization sucks and Azazel is cheap. Other than that, great game!

It's Tekken, so I'll say that I desperately wanted to like it. But I think I played it long enough to get through half of the Story mode, several rounds of Arcade, and then I never so much as wanted to play it again. I guess it's more of a multiplayer title, and I'm a single-player gamer.

Aww, did I hurt your widdle fee-fees?

Is it true that it had long load times. The game really is just too much for the meager Play Station 3 hardware. It would have made sense if they made a computer port, since it's clear they wanted to make a game above and beyond what consoles can handle. But Japanese developers and their awesome games hate computers. It just... did not belong on the Play Station 3 at all. I can understand a port to Play Station 3 and XBOX 360, but they should have went the way of Street Fighter IV and released it on the computer, with hardware that can actually handle such a game. This is such a blatant mistake on their part it's cringeworthy.

That being said, it's playable and very worthy to get like most video games that have flaws like this. And Leo is mai hasubando/waifu. Of course I love this game.<3

What Jin is doing in this game is like Lelouch. Did anyone noticed that?

Necro-ing for a bunch of Ling questions: (copypasta from the General thread)

1. Anyone know Ling's best standing punisher? My thoughts go to 2, 1 but 2 hits high and whiffs a lot. Same for 1, d+2.

2. I've noticed that f+3, 1, 1+2 becomes inconsistent the moment you have juggle filler exceeding 3 hits and when you go slightly off axis. Any other bound enders after RD 2, 1, ff+1, B! ? ff~AOP u/f+3, 3 is too hard for me to do.

3. General help on safe moves would be appreciated.

Also, how do I play Lei? I'm terrible with him, but he's Jackie Chan so I want to be better.

Sorry, I don't play Lei. He seems hard though, with all those stances.

I can prove what Jin is doing resemble Lelouch's.

Kill an evil family? Check. Take over their empire? Check. Start World War III? Check. Doing all that trouble for world peace? Check. At the cost of own life? Check.

^ Anyone who has seen Code Geass and knows the storyline of T 6 BR could make that connection. Not sure what point you're trying to prove here.

Code Geass? What? I don't really pay attention to the Story in Tekken. I came in late, so everything from the crowning moment of Bait the Dog via Kazuya to the corporate war between The zaibetsu and G is kinda lost on me.

I also used to think most of the cast was too bland. Feng? Kenpo guy. Bruce? Muay thai guy. Baek? Taekwondo guy. Wang? Old guy. I used to think Lee was pretty boring too... Then i saw his ending and i suddenly became determined to make him one of my mains. Hasn't happened yet, though.

Why can't the story to a fighting game simply be, "There's a tournament, beat everyone's ass!" Maybe then it'll cut down on all these supernatural bosses. If there's one thing I'm sick and tired of, it's inhuman bosses for a fighting game.

The "It's a tournament!" plot works pretty well for the first and second installments, but since this is Tekken six we're talking about i'm sure that story would get old quick.

Although it does amuse me how often the stories in fighting games tend to go off the deep end. The Dead Or Alive tournamnet was used to create an army of superpowered clones. The Mortal Kombat tournament's purpose is to merge two parallel universes together. The world warrior tournament was used to collect data on the strongest fighters to do something evil by some evil people. The King Of Fighters tournament was used for everything from charging up a giant space cannon to ressurecting an ancient evil demon.

You have to wonder why the participants even bother after awhile.

How the hell does entering a fighting tournament have a chance of that? Unless you happen to match up to Juri or Anna, i mean.

Last time I checked, this was the same fandom that believes Asuka and Lili have some serious mix of Les Yay and Foe Yay going on. Or that Zafina (according to the character page) thinks "Lili would make an enjoyable 'toy'". [lol]

Every female character in a fighting game is hot as hell and most male characters are either bishies or ruggedly handsome. I'd say it's very likely that a good proportion of these casts want to bone each other.

[up] Can't argue with that.

[up][up] Oh it's true. Scenario Campaign is crap, but the dialogue between several character-Lili and Zafina especially-almost makes up for it.

Speaking of Zafina, anyone out there any good with her? I don't think i'll ever master her but she has the weirdest fighting style i've ever seen this side of Voldo. She intrigues me.

I fucking hate fighting against Zafina. Then again, I really hate fighting Jack, Roger, Kuma, Jinpachi and Azazel so maybe I just loathe an oppenent using a style so out of place in a series lauded for its realistic take on martial arts.

Realistic? What? Tekken's never had accurate portrayals of any real-world martial arts. Eddy and Christie use moves that would have zero practicallity in an actual fight, Nina's arsenal includes bitchslaps, Kazuya's had the Corkscrew uppercut from the beginning... Might not have fireballs but it's far from realistic in any measure. Are you thinking of Virtua Fighter?

I didn't say practical. Practicality would be using only five moves that work, kinda like a beat-em-up. When I said realistic, I meant something I could conceivably see in a demonstration or movie without the layman calling bullshit. And since when isn't bitchslapping a viable method of asswhooping? Do you not have a mother? Are you denying the power behind an expertly delivered smack across the face, you MOTHERLESS FUCK?!

...Too far?
