I imagine that Blizzard are going to be treading carefully when it comes to Zarya in particular, I suspect that she didn't appear in the Christmas comic because it was banned in Russia and they didn't want the Russian audience to miss out on story involving their main representative character.

If Zarya is gay then whatever reveal her as gay will be banned in Russia, which means that Russian Overwatch fans won't be able to follow her story. Hell the Russian government might just strait up ban Overwatch completely as a reprisal.

She was actually in that comic. Look on Winston's computer screen.

So she is, still I can't draw anything story related from her brief appearance, so I suspect her apearence was still done in such a way that Russian fans can still follow her story without having to view the comic (as again it's banned in Russia).

Meh. I'm hoping they do something like add a voiceline to the game where she and Tracer chat about their girlfriends.

I just had the following mental image: "Blizzard has artists hide a Zarya comic page by page on screens of random background computers over each story they make."

Or something along the lines of Zarya asking Tracer for dating advice, in case she's single. After all, establishing a character's sexuality doesn't require for them to be in a relationship right away.

So yeah, guess I was just being a bitch about the fact it's looking like reality is going to fuck over that thing I wanted to be my first go at long term presentation.

I'm going to be really honest with you, DBL, and I hope that you and everyone else doesn't hate me for it and can see I'm just trying to help, but 1. We are more than happy to listen to your troubles, therefore, 2. When you blank your posts saying that you're just being a whiny bitch (which you're not), that action makes you a little bit of a whiny bitch (especially when you know we are willing to listen). Please, post it and leave it. I, and I think most people in here, do want to help and talk. If you want that, too, please let us.

Ugh, one of those rich Trump supporting high school classmates of mine just mocked the protesters for being "whiny" and "entitled" because "the world doesn't owe you anything!" I was kind enough to lead her to the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a list of the 30 things the world does, in fact, owe you. There's some nifty stuff in there:

At this point it doesn't really matter what I or anyone else wants. Every time I think I'm going to have a chance reality finds a way to shit on me.

Has an event been cancelled, or has a person had this effect?

It's the fact that now I know that people who know me are going to be at the event I was going to do it at.

How big is the event, if it's even just a football field size then it's unlikely you're going to bump into them - especially if you're trying to avoid them.
