^^ I don't know the details. I've never read it. Is there actual subtext or is it just one person trying to rope two siblings into a threesome? Or one sibling trying to tie a third person and their sibling into a threesome?

Short version:

Rito and Mikan, older brother and younger sister

Momo and Nana, Alien Succubus Twin Sisters

Momo wants Mikan to join Rito's harem, whether she has incestuous interest in her brother be damned (I'd argue she doesn't).

Momo and Nana frequently get each other off by licking each others tails, which is actually pretty much straight up incest.

The two succubi would fit, then. Although it might be so blatant that it perhaps isn't really subtext? Anyway, I'm not familiar with the series, so I think you need to sort it out yourselves.

Well Rito/Mikan is mostly subtext but she getting infected with Love Pollen brought the subtext to the surface (Twice) she still fought it.

Momo and Nana is complex but Momo has convinced herself that making everyone into Rito's harem is the only way everyone can be happy. (this includes her spending "time" with everyone in the harem as well.)

Can't we just re-launch it under Incest Yay? We already have all the other yay tropes as non-shipping, and there are all the redlinks across the wiki that need to be fixed—wouldn't it be easiest to just restore the page and get rid of the problems that caused it to be cut in the first place? Namely, shipping.

Wasn't it already cut once by Fast Eddie for being rampant perversion or something? Perhaps having subtext in the name instead of the yay snowclone will attract less of that. I don't really care either way, but that just seems like the best way to keep it from getting misused. After all, I imagine Ho Yay is still getting misused all the time with new wicks.

Incest Yay is one of those cases where the snowclone hurts more than it helps, I think. Ho Yay is both a preexisting term and relatively meaningless if you've never seen it before. Meanwhile if you aren't familiar with it "Incest Yay" sounds like a page outright celebrating incest, which is both incorrect and rather creepy sounding. You have to be famiiar with the -Yay terms beforehand - and specifically the way this site uses them, since on the internet at large it can be used for both subtext and shipping - to get the correct meaning.

I don't even think it needs to be thrown back to YKTTW. The page itself was good, the description just needs to be edited to reflect subtext, and the examples cleaned. And before you say we should rename it:

This title has brought 285 people to the wiki from non-search engine links since 20th FEB '09.

It just astounds me how much TV Tropes has lost its balls over time. I'm witnessing Badass Decay in action! If this keeps up, TV Tropes will loose everything that made it unique and it will become just another dry Wikipedia clone. If you people want to create a trope ghetto and put all the moderately offensive tropes there, that is your right but at least admit WHY your doing it: cowardice, pure and simple cowardice. You people are too afraid of being judged by other, lesser sites and for that you should be ashamed. When people realize that TV Tropes is too cowardly to stand by its tropes, this site will hemorrhage any support it might have had and become a shadow of its former self.

So, uh, what are the plans again? Do we put it back up?

Needs a rename, at the least. We're not going to celebrate incest, no matter what.

Fine. Whatever. Restore the old page under Incest Subtext, clean up the description to be clear its not celebrating anything, and make Incest Yay a redirect.

Hear hear...except for the complaints about the namechange. You may know it's a snowclone, but is a person who happens to run across that page without context going to, or will they say, "Wait...they're saying YAY to INCEST?!??"

Hold on a sec, I found more of the old page. Thank god someone blanked it. Saved on my computer, and I slapped the redirect on the Cut List. Why was the page moved there anyway?
