Liking it so far.
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DAny thoughts on how Mr Dark is now apparently a Teensy?
At E3, did anyone else notice how the president of Ubisoft didn't know who Globox is, and just referred to him as the "blue guy" until his fellow executive corrected him?

Feel free to vandalize me.Ubisoft Montpillier is but one division inside a larger company, after all, and throughout the entire company, they're the only one that does anything Rayman-related. Not to mention, it's been quite a few years since Globox had the chance to be in anything.
And I've forgotten the names of my own characters before from time to time...
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaNew trailer. Doesn't show any gameplay, but it's pretty funny.
God this game is gorgeous. Just in art style alone.
Is that meant to be the Bubble Dreamer with the Bubble Pipe there? I like him. He looks like a chill dude.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI'm confused... why are the forces of darkness attacking the world again? Is it because Polokus/The Bubble Dreamer was having nightmares, because Mr Dark unleashed them, or because they were annoyed by Rayman and co's snoring?
Why not all three?
Anyway's I'm loving the trailer. I really like Polukus's redesign, especially the beard. And Rayman screaming was hilarious. Also, I think the purpled hair fairy might be a redesigned Ly, but I don't really know for sure.
Oh, and there's been a bunch of new info about the game that's been released, but since I'm at school, I'll have to wait until later to post that stuff.
This stuff is fantastic. I need this game.
"No copyright law in the universe is going to stop me!" ~ Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic ColoursNow that I watch both this and the E3 trailer again, I do gotta say: Am I the only one wondering why in the E3 trailer the second Teensee changes between one with a black robe to a one with a blue one? It could be an original design then changed, but the trailer shows them a lot.
WMG : That black robe Teensee will become Mr. Dark later in the game, and will be repleaced by the blue robe teensee.

Too lazy to have a decent sig.I think that I saw Ly among the Bubble Dreamer's bubbles.
I think that might've been Betilla, the nymph from the first trailer waaaaay back when.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaHe's referring to the fifth character filled bubble which is obviously not Betilla. And if that is indeed Ly, then that is some redesign.
http://www.longcriercat.deviantart.com I'm thirsty. Got any ink? Resident Pen Ward antagonist.Yeah, I was referring to the fifth bubble.
And I think the redesign is rather nice.
^Not saying anything against the redesign. It's just very interesting what design choices they decided to go with.
http://www.longcriercat.deviantart.com I'm thirsty. Got any ink? Resident Pen Ward antagonist.Wasn't really being defensive, sorry if there was a misunderstanding.
Freeing Electoons will gradually restore the Bubble Dreamer’s memories, which in turn will prompt him to tell goofy stories about the world’s characters when Rayman visits his house between levels. These stories are more than just plot, however, as they’ll apparently unlock those characters and make them selectable. We’re told there will be between 10 and 20 different characters in all, although these will reportedly be variants on the same three themes, including four Rayman variants (including Dark Rayman from the first game), four Globoxes (including a red version of Globox, which was apparently his original color before eating a poison berry) and an undetermined number of teensies.
This seems pretty neat. I'd love to see some more backstory on the games characters, and unlockable skins are always nice.
This video interests me for three reasons. First, because it shows us another fairy who isn't Betilla. Secondly, because it shows that there's more than one way to earn Protoons. Apparently you can find them in cages, get them by collecting enough Lums in a level, and by completing some sort of time trial. And thirdly, because of the the teensy holding the testube at the end. Now, I'm not 100% sure, but that teensy may be the Magician from the first Rayman's redesigned look. Seeing how in Rayman, the Magician was the same species as Rayman, but in Origins, Rayman is the only one of his kind, they may have made him a Teensy instead. The magician and this Teensy have the same star on their hat, and they made Mr. Dark into a teensy, so who knows?
And lastly, five of the six worlds in the game have been named. They are Jibberish Jungle, The Desert of Didgeridoos, Gourmand Land, The Sea of Serendipity, and Mysic Pique.

... So their reason for Globox being blue is because he ate a poison berry?
Well, that's anti-climactic.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Why does the black teensee becomes another King Minimus in "cutscenes"? So the black robe is just a skin and not an individual character? bummer.
Too lazy to have a decent sig.So, I've decided to edit the Rayman Origins page to include this new data, and I want to know if the Bubble Dreamer counts as a Cool Old Guy.
^Check the page again. Then check back in with me.
http://www.longcriercat.deviantart.com I'm thirsty. Got any ink? Resident Pen Ward antagonist.I've heard of some interesting Hailfire Peaks out there, but "The Desert of Digeridoos" is a new one.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaAlrighty then, thanks.
By the way, I added Bandland, Level Ate, Cool Shades, Save your Diety, and Shapeshifing to the Origins page.
