A mess: That One Index

Okay, I started a thread about That One Level being misused for final levels. I assumed that that was a rule because it is a rule for That One Boss. So That One Boss is about a boss that is really hard despite not being built up to being powerful in a games story, but last levels of games are fine. what is up with that.

Also, I looked through the other items here.

• That One Achievement: Smaller then I would expect, but fine otherwise.
• That One Attack: Again fine, although I think it might be a good idea to put in a rule about attacks that take a while to charge up or something like that.
• That One Guy: This is confusing, as it sounds like that one boss but as a playable character. Decent article though.
• That One Rule: It sounds like a rue that makes things hard, as opposed to a rule is a simple game that is really complex.
• That One Puzzle: Don't we already have Guide Dang It! and Moon Logic Puzzle? Other then that its fine and Exactly What It Says on the Tin.
• That One Sidequest: This works fine.

We need to get a consistent definition about what can not be an example and deal with That One Guy.

I think That One Achievement, That One Attack, That One Level, That One Puzzle, and That One Sidequest are fine because from what I can tell because I think they follow the pattern of That One Boss (i.e. a noticeably difficult challenge that is not just hard because it is the last one).

I think That One Guy probably would just benefit from a rename.

Based off of the above information from the related link, I would say it has not really been used much and I feel like its name gives it future grounds for misuse since the trope itself is fairly different from an in-game level, boss, or character. Your mileage may vary there though.

To be honest, I am not sure I understand That One Rule. From what I can tell it is supposed to be about a rule or a set of rules that are not very easy to understand. I believe that it is differentiated enough from the original That One Boss and That One Level tropes that it probably should either have a name change or be excluded from this index. I feel like there is a great deal of difference between something that is hard to beat and something that is difficult to understand, but that might just be me.

As for the related tropes, I am not sure if non-video game tropes tend to fit with this index, but I am fine with leaving them there.

Well if the non video game tropes are in here, its more of a Search Generated Index. But the main reason I came here is beacuse That One Level and That One Boss are not the same thing, That One Boss says not to add any Final Bosses, but That One Level has no limits like that. So should we make them all like That One Level, or all like That One Boss?

I think that we should make the other tropes be more like That One Boss (since final bosses, levels etc. are expected to be difficult so a specific non-final level or boss is notable), but that is just my opinion, I am not sure what other people think about that.

Well its either that or make them all like That One Level. I think a restriction is better, but I kinda dont want to delete a lot of content. we need more people to discuss this.

Also, the image for That One Guy it JAFAAC, I'm starting on that.
