Our artistic licenses allow for a 40-year old man to have the personality of a millennial-old being, I think. Like characters from different universes crossing over in one place for no apparent reason. I'm wondering how you will handle it if you have to take a look at your character as a person, rather than his plot device powers?
I'm all for the cantina, but that's because it fits my 'verse perfectly. So feel free to disregard this post due to its selfishness.
Well, my character in Carnival is dead, so I guess I'm done...
And, all three ideas sound like a lot of fun. I think that I'll do this again.
I don't think it is recommanded to kill off your character unless you're dropping off. That is pretty much the rule in most roleplays.
Your character can become a spirit.
Mine's pretty dead, too...
Which is giving me some very creepy ideas.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.I was thinking about bringing another character in, but that doesn't seem very fair.
You are allowed a total of three...
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception. Here, characters can die. If it's backstabbing, accidents and the like. It heavily adds to the dramatic tension — showing that there will have consequences for actions, and, like the First Law of Metafictional Thermodynamics suggests, allows for a greater intensity.
Just turn her into a spirit and start haunting around, unless you're okay with just leaving.
So, will this be the first thread with two Troper characters dieing?
Never mind then.
Well, that was the last ruleset, so I don't know if it still applies. I think as long as you stick with one character at a time, it will be good.

Oh, he can do without the powers, totally. If anything, he's more likely to use them while he's making dinner...*notes to try and write about that sometime* ...Which is exactly why I want to use him one last time, so I can learn how he behaves in a setting where he doesn't have to deal with... things... like the Eternal King, ROSANNA, or psychotic renegade soldiers.
I've gotten to the point where I'm picking his personality apart and trying to see what events would have logically shaped him into the ambitious immortal he is today. And the next thread should help me do that, like how I've learned so much about Cyrus this time around.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Wait. Does that mean we have to use characters that can die?
Read my stories!No.
Do you think ROSANNA (or rather AnA) should appear in this thread, or should she just be resting?
This thread is going to get very big in the future.

Wait, so can I bring another character in?
Hey guys just checking in! Look like I might be able to post later on tonight. Now lets see what happe-
...
Well. Damn. Looks like Valentine's best friend just died.

Technically, yes, especially if the setting is inherently combat-friendly, such as a creepy abandoned carnival out of a horror novel, the Yucatan...
If you wish, now that you don't have to balance more than one.
Vince, even though he's immortal, should be okay for the Cantina. Because there should logically be no fighting in there. Hey, even immortals need some time to stretch their legs, too, right?

"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Your character must die, if it is so. It isn't that you shouldn't bring immortal/invincible characters to the play per se, but that you can keep the tension high with them. (You might be able to pull strings and turn characters against each other, like in Othello, or The Count Of Monte Cristo.) Otherwise..

Wait, are these always specifically fighting threads?
I thought this was for character development. If I want to gauge my character's fighting skills...well, I already do that actually. I'm a fighting type of dude.

Read my stories!Technically, you shouldn't fight. The threads typically are not started with fighting in mind. But fighting is frequent regardless.

"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."Who says you shouldn't fight, or that you have to fight because by convention you have to? That'sa boringa. I would say, there can be a deeper, more cerebral conflict that goes on, one that cannot be so easily resolved by might.
In this case, my character and JHM's kind of crossed paths and we had to fight it out.
OK then. I guess I'll just have to put a power limiter on my character then, just in case.
Read my stories! After catching up on all that has happened in my absence, I really, really regret missing out on it. Honestly, that was amazing. If I had a hat, I'd have to tip it.
yeyKinda feel sorry after doing that. I can kill my own characters with no qualms, but... Damn. Sorry, JHM.
And that, ladies and gents, is why I Pot Hole Kiora to Superpower Lottery. And Mary Sue. And Game-Breaker.
No one believes me when I say angels can turn their panties into guns.
If Milo and Yomiko were to develop feelings for each other, that would raise some interesting problems. But I'm not sure if I'll even use Milo for another thread.
Be not afraid...
