I'm concerned about Alisa being in the game at all; must have my cute, feminine android/predator girl. Doubt they'll drop someone as unique as her.

I'll be pissed if they drop Asuka.

I'm more concerned about Asuka having a bigger role beyond her relationship with Lili, heh. I mean, she's the cousin of the guy who kinda rules the world.

I'm surprised they haven't really done anything with that yet truthfully.

Her connection to Jin is a big Elephant in the room. It looked like they would acknowledge it back when she appeared in 5 if her ending is anything to go on, but they decided to focus on her rivalry with Lili instead, and that plot point was dropped.

As long as they have the same last name, they are going to have to acknowledge the connection eventually.

Well, Pokken Tournament, a Pokemon fighting game, has been confirmed for release in Japanese arcades in 2015. Harada seems to be heavily involved, as is Soul Calibur's free to play producer.

The gameplay looks to resemble Tekken's, albeit cartoonier than usual, and Jinpachi's boss theme from the 5th game was featured, so there's no telling just how much this will be a Tekken game with a Pokemon wrapping or its own organism.

and Not really. She did enter the 6th Iron Tournament to punish him for plotting world domination, where in reality, Jin's trying get rid of the Devil Gene by awakening Azrael, and to do that, fill the world with negative emotions by World War III to wake him up.

Speaking of Jin's relation to Asuka, wouldn't he know they're cousins. Why? As head of the Mishima Zaibatsu, he can look into files of whoever entered the corporation's past tournaments. Once he reads Asuka's file, he'll know they're cousins, of course she has the Kazama surname.

As for how 7 will conclude the bloody feud amongst the Mishimas, best keep Asuka out of it. Why should she suffer for being a Mishima by law?

As for Lili, bear in mind that the rivalry is one-sided. Asuka will just be all But for Me, It Was Tuesday in regards to their rivalry. Not only that, they both want to beat up Jin.

I'd play it, it looks rad and a Pokemon-skinned Tekken is too good to pass up.

I get that Ryu vibe too. I was also kind of thinking of Yun, Kazuya or possibly Akira. Maybe Lucario just gives off that aura.

I remember Blaziken being in this game's first unofficial screen-shot. Wonder how he'd work...

So I'm just realizing.

Namco's fighting division has obviously finished up with Smash Bros, and the Tekken team is most assuredly working on Tekken 7.

So what does the existence of Pokken imply about Tekken X Street Fighter? Is that game Deader than Dead?

Not necessarily. It's certainly not coming out any time remotely soon, though - I'd say 2016 at the earliest, now.

I'm just worried that Soul Calibur is at the very bottom of the priority list...

No offense, I just have zero interest in Pokemon. But I love Tekken and Soul Calibur.

Tekken and Soul Calibur are not made by the same people within Namco. It's the Tekken team that's been working with Nintendo, not Project Soul.

There's a lot of cross-over, and SC's producer/main programmer is involved with Pokken Tournament.

So....has anyone ever wonder how Alisa reforms her head and arms after she makes it explode, and launches them like missiles respectively?
