I think so, all the other heroes were accounted for at the end. Unless it was Sky High.
Speaking of accounting heroes, have you noticed Dragon Kid doesn't seem to hang around with the others? Maybe because she's a minor. Oh and Origami Cyclone either, but I don't think the heroes would let him hang out with them no matter how much he pleaded.
Where is Origami Cyclone, actually? Didn't we last see him in like... episode 2 or something? I don't think he's even attended those hero gala things. Is he trying to work in secret?
Please be gentle with me.He's probably too busy trying to steal some space on other sponsor's pictures.
Origami tends to hide in the background, but I think this was the first episode he wasn't actually in it. He's been in random places in the previous episodes.
Re:Episode Count - ANN always defaults to 12, so they aren't the most accurate source for counts. Last I heard was 2 cour/25 episodes. Which is all kinds of awesome.
...
It's already so common you might as well, huh...
If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits. It defaults to 12 because it's basically impossible for it to be less than 12 and it's easier to add episodes than remove them, or at least generates less confusion.
Say that to any noitaminA anime (Always 11 eps) or Mitsudomoe season 2 (8 eps).

Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!One day, Barnaby, that stick will slip out your ass and you'll have no idea what to do.
i. hear. a. sound.Hey, let's Five-Man Band these heroes!
(Obviously, these are early guesses, we need to see more about some of the characters.)
The Hero: Wild Tiger
The Lancer: Barnaby
The Big Guy: Rock Bison
The Chick: Blue Rose
The Smart Guy: Fire Emblem (maybe)
plus:
Tagalong Kid: Dragon Kid
Sixth Ranger: Origami Cyclone (possibly)
Opinions?

[No, Sparkysharps, you will not make a another slash joke. You will not make a slash joke. It's too easy. It's been done countless times. You are better than this. You are twenty-one, not twelve. Just let it go]
Replace it with Kotetsu's?
[Goddammit.]

"If there's a hole, it's a man's job to thrust into it!" — Ryoma Nagare, New Getter RoboIf you go by how they are marketed, then it'd be:
- The Hero: Sky High
- The Lancer: Fire Emblem
- The Big Guy: Rock Bison
- The Chick: Blue Rose
- The Smart Guy: ?
- The Sixth (and seventh) Rangers: Tiger & Bunny.

i. hear. a. sound. You know, it just occurred to me that Kaede has a crush on Barnaby.
Which means it's gonna be reeeeaaaly awkward when* Kotetsu finally brings him home to meet the family.
"Daaaaaad! I wanted him to be my boyfriend, not yours."
"If there's a hole, it's a man's job to thrust into it!" — Ryoma Nagare, New Getter RoboIt's probably also going to be kind of awkward for Kotetsu's wife...
Tumblr here.Who we haven't seen and have no proof is still alive or married to him (I think). My Bur Relationship Compass is pointing towards divorced because it's already been emphasized how much the hero career can eat into your personal life.

i. hear. a. sound.Wait, then who was that woman in the house during episode 2 (or was it 3?)
But I guess I could see them being divorced amiably, and he just calls to stay in touch with Kaede.
Tumblr here.I think I read somewhere that Kaede lives with her grandma and that's who the woman with her was, but don't quote me on that.
i. hear. a. sound.^ It's Kotetsu's mom (he says as much when he's first on the phone with her. Yes, I have watched these episodes enough times to remember that. Shut up). As for his wife, the photo lineup he has in ep 1 inclines me to believe she's dead (wacky Sparkysharps WMG time!)

"If there's a hole, it's a man's job to thrust into it!" — Ryoma Nagare, New Getter RoboOh, I take that back then. I just went and checked also, and he does call her "mom", so I guess that settles that.
I also think it's more likely she died instead of getting a divorce, but that's kind of a gut feeling that doesn't have much to back it up.
I thought you only got to be a superhero if you had NEXT powers, though? But I wouldn't be too surprised if Kaede develops NEXT powers as well.
Tumblr here.Wasn't Nexts described as the result of genetic mutation or something? That means that the chance of it being passed on to Kaede is possible.
Though what type of genes allows you to materialize water?
@Sparky: Tigerx Bunny or Bunnyx Tiger?

With one exception* , I'm always switch for these sorts of things.

"If there's a hole, it's a man's job to thrust into it!" — Ryoma Nagare, New Getter RoboFinally another Iza Shizu *. . fan~ I was almost convinced they don't exist. Strangely I'm having trouble deciding for this one *. .
Just to avoid turning this thread into a shipping thread like Madoka, it seems that the judge at the beginning of this episode is the Big Bad (having Koji Yusa voice him is a good indication). I'm pretty sure he won't be above using the law to put our heroes in a tight spot (like bankrupting their sponsors).

Was that Rock Bison getting arrested at the end?
Don't mind me. I'm just a creepy little lurker.
