It was confirmed that she survived Order 66, and the hologram was a recording of the moments immediately before her execution.

- Have the crew meet some character of the week
- Bonding ensues
- Episode ends with the crew making another daring escape, while this character of the week covers for them
- At first it seems this COW isn't in any danger, then the Inquisitor shows up and kills him/her onscreen in quick succession, faster than the plethora of Stormtroopers.
- Have the main characters mope about it for more than just one episode.
Suddenly the Inquisitor is a very real threat.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."More Clone Wars than Rebels, but I'm watching some old episode of Talespin for fun and I can just not get over how Hondo basically is Don Karnage, except slightly nicer, a different accent and replacing idiot henchmen with treacherous ones.
Someone needs to challenge Jim Cummings to do a conversation between the two of them. Or set this song to something Hondo's doing.
Episode's on the Watch Disney XD app right now. Ezra finally got his lightsaber. Goodbye Mr. Slingshot. Like how they handled Yoda but we got a little problem now. Yoda speaks to Kanan and Ezra - he is aware they exist - yet he tells Luke that he is the last of the Jedi in Return of the Jedi. So did he tell Luke a "truth from a certain point of view" or did something happen to the Ghost and her crew in the years since this contact?
Now anybody wanna bet we are gonna be seeing Lando next week?

Vision or not, I guess this episode has officially answered whether or not this show would ever get as violent as The Clone Wars did.
Gahmah's Link Tree: https://linktr.ee/GahmahRaanWow, Frank Oz's Yoda voice has aged... Surprising, I know, Frank is 70 now. I guess an older voice is appropriate for an 900 year old alien.
Its interesting comparing that to OT Yoda.
You there! Check out my Youtube Channel! The power of Ponies compel you!Vision or not, did TCW show any good guys, or even organics, get stabbed onscreen in its first season? Ahsoka's helicopter decap was pretty late in the show. On that note, I think it was excellent decision to not see, only hear, the other vision-deaths; imagination is more effective than an image after all.
And yay! That damned slingshot is gone! Oh, and Frank Oz!

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Goddammit, Ezra! My cousin is never gonna let me live this down.
Me, my brother, and my cousin used to have lightsaber battles as kids using flashlights. One time me and my brother got the two flashlights within sight, so he picked up a stapler gun—but we ragged on him about it and told him it didn't look anything like a "real" lightsaber.
Thanks for making us wrong, Ezra, you dick.

Yeah, that avatar's a 'Shop of my real face.and thats before they broke out the Flame Thrower
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole!Ventress dispatched Captain Argyus in the same way.
Path of the Jedi was pretty good - nice seeing Ezra tested like that, and Frank Oz was good to hear back as Yoda. Have to admit I did find it pretty convenient that Lothal had a Jedi Temple though. :P Also I don't think we've ever seen such a massive time skip in Star Wars before, with jumping from Ezra getting the crystal to seeing his finished lightsabre. I also just realised that the reason they had Ezra face his fear before doing the path is because the path to the Dark Side starts with fear - seems like a bit of a no brainer looking back on it, but I didn't consider it when watching it first. XD Manchu Candidate does bring up a very good point though.
Saw the episode. Mainly for Yoda.
Really good all things considered. Though a part of me kinda wished that Yoda would have some kind of spirit form that resembled less like floating orbs of light and more like his actual self.
Am I the only one who feels that way?
I think the floating orbs was meant to be a Call-Back to the last Story Arc of The Clone Wars, where Qui-Gon (who can't do the ghost thing normally) leads Yoda around with light orbs on Dagobah. Nice bit of continuity, actually.
You there! Check out my Youtube Channel! The power of Ponies compel you!Path of the Jedi was pretty good. I appreciated that we got like 10 or 15 minutes of the Inquisitor just straight up murdering everyone, even if it was an illusion. And Yoda was great.

Now that the standard status quo seems to be established since Ezra finally has his own lightsaber, I'm wondering what exactly the main plot's going to be. The series isn't going to be completely episodic, is it?
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.Hey, did any of you guys see the new Rebels Recon vid:
Check out about the 5:28 mark, Zeb's playing against Lando. Lando is showing up in "Idiot's Array", ain't it cool?
I doubt they brought up the Empire's five-year plan for the Outer Rim colonies for nothing. Not to mention it could give us a timeline for how the rest of the series will play up.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Watched "Idiot's Array".
Lando is quite the Magnificent Bastard. If he shows up again, he might become this series' Hondo Ohnaka. That being said, this was by the far the funniest episode of the first season.
On another note, provided Hondo doesn't die in any of the unreleased TCW stories, I would like to see him and Lando meet at some point.

Gahmah's Link Tree: https://linktr.ee/GahmahRaanWatching it atm.
Random thought:
Hera just punched Lando. Now I know why Lando never had kids in the EU
"You can reply to this Message!"Between that moment and Kanan and Ezra, our lovable Jedi duo, not even hesitating to happily accept the deal to abandon Lando, I really hope the Zeb, Ezra, and Chopper antics are done for good. Because this episode is humor done right. Especially since the whole thing was really just filler to establish the blaster part of Ezra's lightsaber.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyIn the middle of watching the episode. Okay, I'm 100% convinced Lando seduced and banged Sabine offscreen.
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.
I thought the implication was that Luminara didn't survive Order 66, and all the holograms and stuff were fake. Didn't really think that hard about it though.
