So basically Evil!Yelv and Evil!HB are in the way of New!Shulk and friends?
I only saw Evil!HB, who's Evil!Yelv?
Mask dude, maybe?
Guy with the mask.
Anyway, I wasn't really impressed with the story trailer. It practically hit all the points of generic anime cliches. I'm surprised that there wasn't a declaration of protection.
I've seen a ton of people complaining about spoilers but I don't really think this told us anything we didn't already know. It's mostly just a bunch of out-of-context lines and what looks like Pyra dying (which is totally a fake-out anyway).
This song needs more love. The story has a mix of not only British accents, but also American ones in the English trailer. It's weird when all mixed up in a trailer, but it should be much better when in game.
Also, I revived the spoiler thread for 2 for the Story trailer.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Two More Testuya Nomura designs.
Busty ice girl for a rare Blade. NSFW, but no nipples. Also, in before Let it Go memes.
Also, loli ice girl. I wonder if the bear is the weapon.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I'm trying to figure out busty ice girl's tail. Deer or rabbit... though the claws don't seem to fit either?

i. hear. a. sound.Whew that's some poor design. I hope this is the absolute limit, because I want to take this game places, and if I'm too embarrassed to take it out of my room I'll be irate.
Look at the braids, they look like braided rabbits ears.
She is also covered in a layer of fur.
Still is pretty bad design.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."That Blade reminds me too much of...the Great Fairies of Ocarina of Time, and they honestly kinda freaked me out...
Meanwhile, the girl and bear are straight up Kuma Miko.
Eh, No big deal to me. She actually has full lips, something you don't see often in japanese character design because it tends to look too "Mature" for some tastes there.
Watch SymphogearEeeeeeeew, and what the fuck is wrong with her arms? Is it intentional they're almost malformed ?
I'm trying hard to stay hyped for the game but so many things in the artstyle are turning me off... I'm starting to question whether or not i'm buying it.
"when you stare too long into the abyss, Xehanort takes advantage of the distraction to break into your house and steal all your shit."I think it's intentional.
And really, this game is at a 10.5/10 for me at this point.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectA translation of a Famitsu interview with some interesting tidbits.
This part is pretty illuminating about the guest artists. Give them freedom to make stuff, and they give you loads of ladies apparently.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectWe got mostly ladies, and like six lolis.
Huh. Why am I surprised?
They're going full anime, and I'm not surprised one bit. Gacha games always have these designs.
They all look the same to me.
Review embargo lifts on Thursday morning.
So, we can assume almost 5 hours of play time while unplugged.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Yeah, I figured they gave the artists free reign and pretty much every one of them decided "Shucks, I know what I'll do! I'll make a really sexualized female design! Nobody else will have that same idea!"
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Only approximately 47 hours until I can get the game!
Hopefully, they don't introduce the BLADE system with "Lolicon kills redshirt, then gets recruited by hero."
Otherwise, I'll know they're ripping off Demon Gaze.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.https://twitter.com/bitnerdgx/status/935660664475013121 Derrick from Gamexplain estimates his review video will be around 25 minutes long, maybe longer.
This, incidentally, makes it one of the longer GX reviews I know of, alongside Xenoblade X's.
Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownNot-Shiva the Bunny Monster Girl looks better in-game, IMO, where the ice crystals on her body look more like clothing, Vapor Wear it may be. And yeah, I'm pretty sure she's meant to be a weird personification of a snow bunny mixed with Playboy Bunny, because... cleverness, I guess... At the very least, I get the idea behind her design compared to some of the other Rare Blades.
I don't know what to make of the little girl with ice bear, but I like bears so she's okay in my book.
While I like that the artists were given a lot of freedom with coming up with their own designs, the results really make me wish there more rules involved in the process, so that there was more... congruence between the Blade designs and the rest of the game. Instead of looking like the Blades all hail from the same world as Rex, it just looks like we're summoning different heroes, aliens, and other beings from other, non-linked universes. ...Unless I missed something and that was the intention.note
Really hoping we get some semi-detailed bios of the Rare Blades regardless, because after that trailer they're pretty much the most interesting thing in the game to me. I may not like the clashing of aesthetics, but I'm a sucker for almost anything remotely Mons-like.
Speaking of, the story trailer almost kind of annoyed me, because a lot of things felt a bit too by-the-numbers as far as characterization seems to go, but I'm hoping proper context give those scenes more weight. Despite feeling like the story will end up not as interesting as the previous two titles, I still plan to get the game, though perhaps not at release (Pokemon, Mario, and Sonic kind of killed me this month, and December 5th has a bunch of titles I'm interested in coming out as well).
My mom has a very posh old timey boarding school accent, and I’m so used to it that other British accents and dialects sound really weird.
