April is looking to be my month off, I might go for it. Just need an idea...
Thanks for the all fish!I want to, though I have no idea what I'd write about yet. Probably going to go all Writing by the Seat of Your Pants again like last year.
Nemo enim fere saltat sobrius, nisi forte insanit Deviantart.I think I'm going to do an American action cartoon for my script.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comOkay, I have a few ideas, based on concepts I've had floating around in my head for a while:
- A goofy semi-autobiographical Slice of Life-ish story about a city girl moving to a rural Newfoundland outport community. Would be TV show or stage play material.
- A play about the funeral of small time crook who's faking his death to weasel out of paying his gambling debts.
- A comic/cartoon script about two kids who discover a zombie in their backyard and try to protect it from the mad scientist who lives down the street.
- A musical about a boy trying to move up the lunch table hierarchy to sit next to the girl he loves.
- A play about a beleaguered stage manager who sabotages the lead actors in a community theatre so the more talented but less good-looking understudies can perform.
Any of those sound particularly interesting?
Thanks for the all fish!I'm doing it, but I'll be working on the Yume-Hime script, which is already well underway (30 pages, but not in order) I'll just take April to finish it.

Project progress: The Adroan (102k words), The Pigeon Witch, (40k). Done but in need of reworking: Yume Hime, (50k)I think I might do it, though with no expectation of finishing, just starting. Nothing lofty, though—just a silly crossover fic I've been wanting to exist for a while.
Idea
All I know for now is that the finale will be one huge cloning gag; that's it.

whoever wrote this shit needs to step on a rake in a comedic fashionOoh cool! This might actually get me off my ass and writing again. I have two ideas for stage plays I might use. One's a dark, David Lynch-esque riff on boy's adventure and kid detective stories like Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys; the other is a story about an ordinary man being drawn into what he believes is the service of Satan, narrated by the man's older self and designed to be staged in an unconventional space.

Words cast into the uncaring void of the internet.I'm doing it!!
I'm going to script the first half of a graphic novel. Maybe more, if I can, but my goal is half of it. 100 pages of script, not script for 100 pages of comic. Also I'm writing it out straight first before dividing it up into pages, especially since it's just a first draft.
I'm actually pretty stuck write now on what to write, after reading this article from their site:
Apparently most Tv writers don't get hired by writing original fiction but instead they get hired for writing what breaks down to Fan Fiction (which I find awesome, and amazing)
Where I'm divided is do I adapt my Na No Wri Mo project, create an original fic(American action cartoon think Alien Force style), or do I create a fan fic piece?

Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comWhile I have zero plans of ever becoming a playwright or a script writer, I'm doing it. I've been dared to do a Bones / Final Fantasy VII crossover centring on non-protagonist characters. I well may do so since my original idea has decided it wants to be a novel and so has been relegated into being my big bang piece for the year.
First day! I'm starting to write. I've decided to do the "stage manager offs actors" play. Anyone else?
Thanks for the all fish!Bah, I still don't know what I'm writing. I think I'll fiddle around with the Story Generator until I can come up with something.

Nemo enim fere saltat sobrius, nisi forte insanit Deviantart.Hm... I figure that since I've got webcomic pages written into the middle of july 2012 I can take a break and focus on this.
Step 1: Avoid FTL travel and demonstrate the length of time needed to get to a new, habitable planet accurately (i.e. about 25 years, assuming it's the next star system over).
Step 2: The characters arrive in what is essentially the Bad Future version of the planet they set out for.
Step 3: In progress.
This sounds like a good time to flesh out my World War Two Alt History script.
Was Jack Mackerel. | i rite gudI'm doing comic scripts. Some future Boy Aurus pages or some Gentlemen's Organization for Demonic Pugilism.

Oh yeah, I'm working on my Screnzy, I'm doing a horror film based on good old-fashioned Norwegian Trolls. So far, I'm meeting my 4-page a day quota without problems, but I just know it won't last through the month, which is just as well, since I'd be finish with five days to spare, and that wouldn't be any fun, now would it?
Liveblog | DeadblogCheckup time! How's everyone doing with their scripts?
I've got 17 pages so far. I hate most of them and think my script is so ridiculous I fear Microsoft Word will shut down in protest. Yeah, I'm at that stage in writing, and it's only five days in. :P
Still, I'm slogging through. Good things are I've written some new characters I'd never thought of before, and there are some new plots and scenarios coming up. It's not going exactly the way I had it in my head, but it's going well enough.
How's about everyone else?
Thanks for the all fish!I've joined. I only have 5 pages done, which is a shame considering Ronka has 17 pages done, and were only 5 days in.
Damn, I need to get on the ball.
I've only got six pages, so you're not all that alone. I've been lazy for the last few days. I think I'll try catching up when I don't feel like I'm getting sick.
Hmm, I haven't actually mentioned what I decided my script would be about yet, have I? I basically decided to try a rewrite of the Fire God script I did last year, which is a fairly standard Action/Adventure/Fantasy story. I'm hoping I'll do a better job with it now that it isn't a part of a "choose what I'm doing" liveblog.

Nemo enim fere saltat sobrius, nisi forte insanit Deviantart.Just start writing. Starting is always the hardest part. I dawdle and whine and procrastinate, which is so easy on TV Tropes, and once I finally buckle down it's not so hard. I mean, it's not easy, but never as bad as I think it'll be. I free write and don't really care about plot or characters or internal consistency— I figure I'll catch all that on the edit. Just focus on the pages for now.

Thanks for the all fish!I have no idea how to write a script, damn it.
A brighter future for a darker age.^ You mean like, don't know how to lay it out, or "DEAR GOD WHY CAN'T THIS BE MORE LIKE WRITING A BOOK"? Because if its the first one, there's a section on the ScriptFrenzy site for that.
Nemo enim fere saltat sobrius, nisi forte insanit Deviantart.Due to being busy with other stuff for a while, I'm still stalled at four pages. Gotta make up for that. -_-
It SHOULD be easy, but to me, transferring ideas to e-paper is hard.
Was Jack Mackerel. | i rite gudThe weird bit is that they're encouraging us to write without camera shots... I dunno, feels weird to me.
