I think this is just a ripoff of the "Lucky Revenant, Bobby G, Blackmoon and Imipolex G are the same person" shtick. Also SPACETRAVEL is my Distaff Counterpart.
I think it has to do with the fact that tropers are lonely, friendless bastards who cling to any common features, however minor and tenuous, to create a sense of connection and stave off crushing alienation and loneliness.
