You know what? Welcome To The NHK is more well-known for its awesome ending theme, but I always liked the OP too.
The OP of AngelBeats!, one of the best of 2010 deserves a mention.
I prefer Judgelight from the second OP of the Spin-Off.
Lol Product Placement * .
While I have no interest in watching the series, I really like the op for High School Of The Dead.
HodorProbably my favorite o_o I get goosebumps whenever I watch it xD specifically at the part where they show Negi kneeling like his arms are trapped beneath the desks all defeated and when Chachamaru and Evangeline are standing all epically up top of a tower of desks =o then it all comes together at the end with the chime from the first series that gives off the series' zaniness =o love it

To be dominated by me is not as bad for human pride as to be dominated by others of your species. My favourite song recently (Other than Claymore):
Never seen this show, but the opening is all kinds of awesome!
Its an anime version of The Powerpuff Girls.
I'm not kidding.
I love this opening because not only does it make me want to dance, but when you watch it, you get the feeling that a magical adventure awaits.
If you wanna PM me, send it to my mrsunshinesprinkles account; this one is blorked.Favourite opening depends on if we're counting song or the whole thing.
Overall, it's most likely the epic piano of Angel Beats, which probably beats out the clockwork technology of Shakugan No Shana.
The best song is Last Regrets of Kanon. Clannad and Air also have great opening songs, but I have no idea what those three have in common.
No longer favourite, but still great ones:
Princess Resurrection: Blood Queen (I think...)
Finally, and old classic from The Mysterious Cities Of Gold.

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. The opening to NGE is literally just behind that
NO TREE FOR ME (ALSO LOVES HER BOYFRIEND)I liked the Sailor MoonS movie
But Ouran High School Host Club's is so pretty
But I love the opening for Durarara!

TOO. MUCH. CANDY. AAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!-I am not going to post the it due to it being NSFW, but the opening to Elfen Lied is amazing.
The one that's stuck in my head right now is Tatami Galaxy's.
Hey guys, remember that show called Futakoi which was about a harem of twins and was pretty uninteresting?
Well, that's what I'm not going to show the opening of:
Futakoi Alternative was the only good thing to have come out of that show.
dmysta 3000: Yeah, that theme is awesome. It's a pity the actual show isn't half as good as the American version.
I'd vote Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Slayers Next and Rumba Rumba from Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei.
Pretty much every Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei opening is great, but that one is truly glorious. "My wandering figure looks exactly like a rhumba!"
That is a very fine opening indeed. Interesting side note: The same group that did the opening for that show also did the final opening for the original Fullmetal Alchemist... which was, naturally, the most musically compelling of that show's openings, and I think the only one that really nailed its tone with any great accuracy.
Speaking of Yuasa, Kaiba's opening is gorgeous. The animation is just... well, it's Masaaki Yuasa. Enough said.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Maybe not the single greatest ever, but seeing that most of my other favourites have already been posted, I'll go with "Kami nomi zo shiru sekai"
I'm still wondering if this is from the same guy that made the "Higashi no eden"-opening.
