Describe something geeky that you have done or are doing, and have the next troper scan it to identify your power level!

(power level refers to how geeky it was.)

I have had my picture taken with cosplayers at convention halls.

(INB 4 ITS OVER NINE THOUUSAAAND!!, yeah its funny, but don't use it too often or else the game will be ruined.)

At least 100!

I spent my Valentine's Day studying the structure of Slavic names.

[down] That never happened.

Zero, you didnt put anything geeky down! I'd say at least 500!

I once sang a vocaloid song out loud on the bus.

Metric: 0 for standard, 100 for geeky as hell.

@ the top: 40 or so: amongst otaki, that's pretty standard.

[up] Not sure how geeky that would qualify as. Instruments registering nothing.

I have been to a collection of old military equipment and was able to identify most of the tank models there by myself, including such old gems like the M50 Ontos and the M551 Sheridan.

Over 1500

I can quote at least the first three lines of Beowulf in Old English.

That right there's a 1500.

I once bought a sandwich during lunch, struck a dramatic pose and screamed FALCON LUNCH in front of everyone.

I don't regret it.

I enjoyed reading every book assigned in school except Billy Budd.

50. I was the same way, except with The Count Of Monte Cristo and A Tale Of Two Cities.

I just drew a Milotic with six chubby nonfunctioning arms, its face and tail burned away to reveal a metallic skeleton.

@Annebeeche: 100. (That's just ordinary bibliophilia, which I can totally relate to.)

[up]Impressive! 2300.

I developed the habit of marching from place to place, and used to mark time to any background music present.

@ Dyna: 500
(I did that when for the first 350 Pokemon.)

@ Ann: 200
(I do that with English and I pretty much consider it Gramma Nazi [no pun intended on the German])

Often when I'm out I will be singing along to something that is only in my head, complete with twirling.

500. Not really geeky, per se, but the twirling gets you points for style. smile

I wrote down the entire formula to determine the catch rate for any given Pokemon and apply it to in-game scenarios with which I am faced.

[up]That's just everyday min-maxing, but it takes a lot of dedication. 2000.

VG game thread. I posted the background music to game-within-an-anime, The Day of Sagittarius III, as a challenge (legit because the game was defictionalized). Furthermore, I was already familiar with the composer and work in question due to Quiz Bowl and band.

I'm playing a romhacked version of pokemon emerald right now that replaces the pokemon with touhou characters, and tweaked the game in such a way that I can trade touhou's online. (This wasn't normally possible with what the emulator gives you.)

250 or so, not particularly nerdy. I listen to VG music all the time.

I've set tunes from the Haruhi Suzumiya movie as my wake-up call. (This probably puts a large hole around the waterline of any assertions that I'm not actually an otaku.)
