-Nyuki stabs Lanius with a Poison Jab from behind while he's stunned-

-Oberon switches to a Thunderbolt while Shadrack attempts to frost over Lanius' limbs-

-Robin's shadow sprouts six wings as the red glow in his eyes intensifies-

Robin:    You think this purging of yours will make you happy, scum? It will only bring you pain! It brought me the end of everything I knew! It's almost merciful for me to destroy you!   

-Beekay looks worriedly over at his Trainer's maddened ramblings before roaring again and using Earthquake-

It's my fault, I should've warned them about how dangerous Lanius is beforehand! This is almost as bad as the first time we fought him!

Nudi: -To Myra- <When we did this for real, this scientist we know came up with this potion that makes mons all attack in unison on command. We used it the first time to blow up Lanius' fleet and save his slaves.>

Lanius: -Takes the attacks and is left smoking- <ARGH!!!>

-He then eyes a gate that in this instance we'd forgotten to do something about-

Thresher: -Laying down Spikes and coming to the same revelation as he watches Lanius' eyes- <Tagg, we forgot to warp the gate!>

...Fuck!

Lanius: -Sends a wave of energy from his sword into the gate before Ann or I can send our mons to attack him again, slicing it in half-

-A number of deranged Houndoom, their Auras similar to Shadows but obviously not, come out and then attack the group as Lanius attempts to get some healing items-

-Jason lands, dashes forward, lets loose another barrage of weaponry, then channels whatever remains into one large blast at Lanius that blasts himself back-

-Needless to say, he's dizzy and clearly drained, but back in the thick of the group-

-While Shana recharges, Senshi turns his attention to the dogs, Focus Blasting any who come close

Daydre looks a little sick at what happened to Dougal.

".. Dolo, back up."

".. We're going to stick to attacking from afar..."

Dolo nods in assent.. However a Geodude does that and throws a rock at Lanius.

While she's focused on him, Daydre notices him going for some items.

"AH! N-no you don't!" She sends out Orthrus, who barks and shoots spectral chains at Lanius.

-As Lanius releases the hounds, something in Robin snaps and he gives a crazed grin-

Robin:    You think those creatures can really stop your annihilation?!   

-several of the corpses on the crosses suddenly come to life with a purple aura and a red glow in their eyes, as they wrench themselves free from their restraints and attack the Houndoom pack-

Human!Ammy: ...Shit! Now we need to stop Robin too!

-She rushes to him, as does Nico. Everyone else chases Lanius-

-She sprays a Bubble Beam at one of them-

Maggie: "Gumbomb, Dazzling Gleam!"

-The Jigglypuff nods and lets out a fairy-based shine to try and impede the Houndoom-

-Maggie takes this time to shoot another arrow at Lanius-

-Glöckchen, meanwhile, tries to slow them down with a Bizzard of her own-

-The Honchkrow follow Lanius, still keeping apart from each other and not getting too close to him-

Sholto (?): <Hey hey hey!>

Sholto (??): <Where are you off to in such a hurry?>

Sholto (???): <I thought this was all about fun with you?>

-They spray a Dark Pulse at him this time-

-the three dragons power dive, Salamence spitting a Dragon Pulse at the Houndoom while Spathi and Marmalade attempt to simply yank them off the ground and throw them into the sea-

-Cornelia uses Glare to try and paralyze them, while Brushfire attempts a Grass Knot-

-Breeze, meanwhile, fires another Hyper Beam at Lanius-

Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.

(Dougal slowly rises into the air, twitching and making an odd moaning sound. Blood pours from the gaping wound left by the seamitar embedded in his left head, staining the ground a deep purplish-red.)

(He stares for a brief moment at the Houndoom horde, as if not quite comprehending what he's seeing. Then, without warning, he charges at the nearest hellhound and, with his central mouth, bites its midsection hard enough to cleave it in two.)

Agaric: <Ffffff->

(The Breloom starts trying to acrobatically bounce from Houndoom to Houndoom using Bullet Punches, narrowly avoiding their fire attacks the whole way. Fulma, rather than confront the hellhounds, runs a good distance away and tries to distract Lanius by sniping him with yet more Thunderbolts.)

Tastes better on the way back down.

I'm going to say right now I love how literally everybody's making this fight as fucked up as possible. :P

-Meanwhile, Avada, Myra, and Cassius look around at not only the Houndoom, but the revived corpses.-

Cassius: <...This is suddenly a lot more fucked up than it already was.>

Myra: <I'll handle the dead people, you take the Houndoom!>

-She washes an Ominous Wind over the crowd of undead, while Avada and Cassius start dealing with the Houndoom one by one-

Blitz: "Jason!"

He's gonna kill himself if he keeps flinging that much energy around

-Suddenly dogs, and not the friendly Joseph variety-

-Mondo Moonblasts at the group-

Rocket: <Blitz! Wake up!>

Blitz: "Wait, what?!"

-Blitz fumbles at his bag and throws a pokeball to release Stark, who lands on one of the ones closing on his group-

-Rocket shifts into a Machoke (that looks suspiciously like one from back home) and gives one a Low Sweep before the last one jumps over him and lunges for Blitz-

-Blitz takes a panicked step back as the dog approaches, and shifts into a Greninja to roll backwards under the lunge and kick the Houndoom over his head before flipping onto his feet-

Gaia: -Stomps one of the Houndoom underfoot, the mon exploding into Glitch particles, as a number of them are felled with icicles sticking right through them, courtesy of Cobalt and Forecaster-

Limna: -Brandishing Sanguine's Rose- <GET THEM!!!>

Dremora Lord: -Is summoned and starts taking his Daedric Greatsword to the Houndoom-    MY MASTER CALLS FOR YOUR HEADS!!!   

Mega!Fortuna: -Using Moonblast on the Houndoom- <How many of these does he have?>

-Some of the Houndoom on the ground attempt to fire Infernos at Ever's mons-

Lanius: -Is stopped from healing by the combined attacks- <You wouldn't want to see what's under here, profligate.>

-And the attempts to cleave Breeze in two-

-Brushfire is holding her stick out at the Infernos, eyes screwed up tight and embers flickering out around her-

-the flames grow, covering her entire body, and she gets taller, and her fur more elaborate-

-and she lashes her wand at the flames, batting them aside with a Psychic-

-Cornelia and Marmalade once again mix an Ancientpower and Stone Edge, Spathi and Salamence launch double Dragonbreaths. Brushfire, once she finishes staring in astonishment, focuses, and summons a Light Screen-

-The newly-created Risen are buffeted by the Omnious Wind but continue to tear into the Houndoom as Ammy grabs Robin from the front and Nico grabs him from the back-

Human!Ammy: Robin! Stop this! I know this fight is bringing out the worst in you, it's bringing out the worst in all of us, but you're going too far!

Robin:    Enough! I need to prove he's worthless! Insignificant!

Daydre is muttering "Oh fuck oh fuck" repeatedly under her breath as things go to shit around her. Dolo and Orthrus Earthquake and Flamethrower the Houndoom and Risen respectively. The two mons have seemingly opposite reactions to all of this- Dolo's face having gone blank and emotionless a while ago where Orthrus is showing signs of open hostility.

Simon, who's remained still and silent for a long while, turns to either Tagg or Jason, ashen-faced.)

-Meanwhile, Myra is still focusing on the Risen, while Avada and Cassius continue fending off Houndoom-

Myra: <Can you show he's insignificant without raising the dead?>

-She hovers over to Robin and attempts to give him a weak jolt, hoping to snap him out of it.-
