-Neptune, meanwhile, narrows his eyes, before widening them to perform the ultimate Threeface. This Threeface may, hereafter, be referred to with the Capital Letter at the beginning. In the beginning of time, there was a catmon, and it threefaced. If it saw the Threeface that was performed by Neptune, it would weep tears of joy at the knowledge that what it has invented has been brought to such perfection. The eyes are widened with enough innocence to make it seem sincere, and the mouth is curled perfectly, and Neptune is sitting back on his haunches in a manner that seems most conducive to hugging and squeezing. Truly, this is a master of the threeface, and we should admire him-

The Tropius lands with another cry before being recalled by Rebecca, the girl glaring daggers at the goff remaining as Rex heads after the retreating goff.

-Surrounding the map table, a Golem, a Conkeldurr, and an Empoleon all look down at the plans with varying levels of interest.-

General Guy: <Colonel Creed? Any recommendations?>

-The Golem chomps on his cigar for a moment.-

Creed: <Nah. But I'll be sending out some scouting parties before the initial deployment, you know... just in case.>

-The Conkeldurr rolls his eyes, a blood red bandana cinched around his brow.-

Straken: <Heh, right. We all know what that means.>

General Guy: <Not a bad idea, Colonel. You've got the Phenac First under your command - they'll know they're way around better than anyone. Straken, you're taking the Agate Forest Fighters to do just that - make sure that whatever the Dragons have set up in the Relic Forest, doesn't stay that way.>

Straken: <Thank Arceus those draks didn't decide to burn the whole thing down 'cause they felt like it.>

General Guy: <Indeed. I'm sure that would have put them in Celebi's bad graces, though, so you should be able to move freely without them resorting to such methods.>

Straken: <They won't get the chance.>

-The Empoleon scans the map, his eyes begging a question.-

General Guy: <Something bothering you, Colonel Stubbs?>

Stubbs: <Hm... There have been whispers of the enemy command at Gateon. I'm just wondering why we aren't striking it now.>

-The white-hatted Yamask thinks for a moment.-

General Guy: <For a few reasons. Firstly, we wouldn't have the forces for a triple-pronged strike against the dragons. We barely have enough properly trained forces for two. Second, we want to force the dragons to retreat to Gateon. If General White and I are correct, it'll soon be a hotly contested area from the ocean, and we'll be in a perfect position to either demand a surrender or force a retreat.>

Stubbs: <Hm... true. So, I'll be joining Colonel Creed in Phenac instead.>

Creed: <I'll need you as the forward commander. Urban combat can get pretty mired without someone at central command. Plus, you and your Gateon Commandos can move around the aqueducts with ease.>

Straken: <So Ursarkar and Vance get to play together? Aaaw, how cute.>

General Guy: <Well, I figured you wouldn't be able to play well with others, so I figured you'd be the odd man out this time, Straken.>

-The four commanders chuckle to themselves.-

General Guy: <Any other questions?>

-The door to the room bursts open. A Pidgeot drops a letter in front of General Guy before bolting back out of the room. Guy takes the letter - it has a red stamp on the envelop. The three colonels exchange worried glances as the general reads.-

General Guy: <Our time table's just been moved up. We're deploying, now!>

Locke shrugged."I guess it'll be good for all of us to have some training done now, won't it? All right, we'll go three on three, sound good?"
