Rex and Kim are both visibly uncomfortable, the former due to all of the arguing and murder talk and the latter due to a mix of the former and the aggressive spikes in auras. Rascal, for his part, seems to be sleeping through everything just fine in Rex's lap.

The Vaporeon is nuzzled, feeling a bit small as a result of the action and flicking her tail off to the side in minor annoyance. However, she remains happy to see the Espeon and beams happily.

Deciding that the meeting is going sour, Kim glances over at Rex and notices he seems to be exceedingly bothered by the shouting. As everyone seems to be distracted with other matters, she rises from her seat and heads over to him, placing a hand on his shoulder.

Kim: I'm going to go get some water from the lobby. Wanna come?

He glances up at her in confusion for a moment before catching her meaning, nodding in understanding.

Rex: We should probably see if Ms. Melody wants to come, too.

Kim: Sure. I'll ask. Just meet me out there, alright?

Rex nods gratefully towards her before exiting the room, Kim heading over towards Melody to repeat her request.
