-She hops off her flower as a gust of magic wind blows across the area-

Mezzo: Huh. And last I checked, Houndoom can learn a lot of Poison moves... I wonder, is there a Dark/Fairy type?

Forte: The only one I know about is Sylveon, so I couldn't tell you.

Teishi is hit by the surprise Fairy Wind and blown away, landing on his face in the process, his previously ghostly appearance disappears as he starts going back to normal.

Boat to Kalos

-Arika is on the deck with a few other people, staring out to sea and waiting for Kalos to show up on the horizon-

- Waka walks up nearby and sees her-

Waka: There’s that dudette... Hangs out with Amaterasu and the Ghost Lord... But... I don’t know much about her...

-Out of curiosity, he inspects her psychically-

-Something catches his attention, and he probes more-

-His eyes suddenly widen. He approaches her-

~Hey dudette.~

Arika: -turns to him- Oh! Hi! You’re that friend of Ammy’s!

Waka: ~Yup. Name’s Waka, dudette.~

Arika: Mine’s Arika. Why aren’t you on the Ark with the others?

Waka: ~Wanted a change of pace.~

Arika: I wanted to see Kalos from the sea.

-She smiles-

It’s so awesome you were on that adventure with Ammy. What was it like?

Waka: ~Who, me? Well, I tried to help, but I also got on the nerves of Amaterasu and the dudes with her. I think grumpy dude still wants to kick me in the balls.~

Arika: Aww, I’m sure you helped.

-She looks around, then leans in-

But you know what I’m really curious about?

Waka: ~Hit me, dudette.~

Arika: ...The Lunar Pendant.

- Waka raises an eyebrow worriedly-

Waka: ~You really want to get your hands on something that dangerous?~

Arika: Pfft, of course not. I’m just curious about its story. I mean, you had it once, correct?

Waka: ~Yes...~

-He sighs-

~It was created by Xerneas for Palkia long, long ago, as part of a jewelry ensemble for the latter. Eventually Palkia tired of her gifts, and it fell into the hands of mortals - most of which didn’t know its wish-granting power.~

-He shifts a bit-

~I found it in my travels and thought it was just a pretty trinket that reminded me of home. I didn’t know that Orochi and Yami were looking for it... Or that they would destroy my new home because of it. I ultimately lost it fleeing Yami.~

-He looks up at the sky-

~From there, it wound up in the hands of many others until it reached Amaterasu. When I saw she had it I didn’t say anything because I thought we had more important stuff to take care of. Then the Ghost Lord told us its real role. After we beat him, Amaterasu and I decided it was too dangerous and threw it in the ocean.~

-He looks back at Arika-

~But when the pendant was with Amaterasu, I noticed something curious.~

Arika: Oh?

Waka: ~Amaterasu mentioned an assassin that was mysteriously stopped by the pendant, correct?~

Arika: Oh yeah. Why?

Waka: ~The assassin’s soul had been sealed inside the pendant.~

Arika: ...Wow. Huh.

-She looks out to sea-

You know, I wonder where it ended up.

Waka: ~Certainly worth wondering about.~

-He smirks-

~But do you know what I wonder, dudette?~

Arika: What?

Waka: ~What if... The pendant had a mind of its own? Its own, dreams, desires... Wishes? What if... It could grant its own wish?~

Arika: ...I don’t get where you’re going here. What kind of wish would an uber-powerful wish-granting pendant have?

Waka: ~Mabye it wanted to stretch its legs, so to speak.~

Arika: ...Huh?

Waka: -chuckles- ~You really don’t get it, do you, dudette?~

Arika: What?

Waka: ...

~You ARE the Lunar Pendant.~

Arika: ...Wait, WHAT?!

Waka: ~Welcome to the Twilight Zone, Arika.~
