There is silence between Gaston, Chikiko & Tsubasa for a long time. One reason is because they don't want to be found, the other is because they have nothing to say.

Chikiko: You can start a new life in Avia. I'll be heading back to Ignis with Gaston.

Gaston: And from there I'll head back to Kalos

Tsubasa: So... we're splittin' up. So you guys can return to Ignis

Gaston: Yes but-

Tsubasa: We nearly got killed for trying to overthrow a tyrannical dictator and you guys are going back to a country that's ruled by someone who's arguably worse?

Chikiko: Yeah, compare Ignis back then to when she became Ryuku's wife. The country was in dissary, people were starving and Ignis was the "weak link" of Southern Ransei. Now? People are afraid of Ignis due to how strong it is, no-one, neither Yusei or the Ghost Lord, would dare try to invade it. Now they're working on making things better for the people. As for a secret police? Well, when someone has been trying to kill you since you arrived, you would be paranoid too. One last thing, for you Tsubasa.

Tsubasa: ...

Chikiko: You're parents didn't try to overthrow the Atakashi's because they were bad rulers (although Lord Ryuku did need a wake up call) . You parents rebelled because Ryuku committed the audacious crime of marrying a foreigner.

Tsubasa wants to retort back with a comment about Ignis, but finds that Chikiko is actually right. She turns away from Chikiko and lies in the corner.

Gaston: That sounds contradictory to what you told me back in Ignis.

Chikiko: I told you only a barebones version of the story because you needed to know. You were ignorant of the state of the poor in Ignis, but now you were ignorant about how things were worse before... -Sighs- Besides, rumor has it that Izumi has been missing for months now

Gaston: Really? What happened

Chikiko: *Shrugs* No-one knows. She dissappered the night we left. I do wonder where she is now

-the two separate before Scarlett sweeps her vines out in front of her, to denote "we're not doing that again"-
