TVtropes is the internet's Big Good

It exists to combat the forces of bad media. It does not ruin the lives of it's users: they (hopefully) still have lives outside of the wiki. It merely serves to prepare us for some sort of fiction disaster. Maybe in 2012, all media will die out. Then, using our knowledge of tropes, we will fill in and save all of human imagination.

Hmm. I like it. But then who's the internet's Big Bad?

The government of China?

Google?

Four Chan?

Fox News? Or at least their website counterpart, anyway?

I vote China or North Korea as big bad.

CWC hasn't got enough influence, while the other two are more likely to censor all fiction and have the power to do so, at least in their territories.

The internet's Big Bad is prolly Google. Hiding in the deepest part of the Youtube wastelands. Surrounded by Copy-Cannons, which neutralize anything from a copyrighted work.
