Twice that I know of. The first I don't remember specifically, but it was something good! The other (relatively recent) one was Black Humor quoting me saying that I'm convinced that stand-up comedians are our modern-day analogues to ancient philosophers.

I know. This is only the sixth sig I've had in about four years — I put Drunkie's up in June of last year. I'll probably go back to it sooner or later, though. Funny is fun, but I kind of liked having an encapsulation of something I've believed most of my life.

@Maddy: Very understandable. I thought about putting something in my sig that sums up how I feel about stuff, but I thought it'd make me seem pretentious. It works so much better with your choice of sig than anything I could come up with.
I don't think I've ever changed the content of my sig—only to put the link to my Troper page in there (oh, that wacky database!) and then later to fix it when we stopped using ptitles. I've thought about putting stuff in there, but I don't want to get rid of my oh-so-witty-and-clever quip and you can only do so much with a sig the size of a Twitter post.
