According to the politicalcompass.org I'm way over to the left and quite libertarian. Weird, as I usually react strongly and in the negative to libertarian views, but I did feel like I was being pushed towards more libertarian views by slightly disingenuous questions.
Your scored -3.5 on Moral Order and 5.5 on Moral Rules.
System: Socialism Ideology: International Socialism Party: No match. Presidents: Jimmy Carter 04' Election: David Cobb 08' Election: Dennis Kucinich
No surprises there I guess. And I too felt that the questions were disingenuous to some extent. Also, why is this about Moral politics?
Edit: Hm... while the "ideal moral order" seems to be a matter of personal conviction, I am quite certain that the Moral Rules, being tools to reach a goal, are subject to SCIENCE: surely whether they are effective in reaching either sort of order can be empirically determined, yes?

"Sweets are good. Sweets are justice."Thiso ne I tend to find to be a good example
We must survive, all of us. The blood of a human for me, a cooked bird for you. Where is the difference?Conservative leaning Centrist.
That looks accurate. I'm not happy with status-quo, so the description was inaccurate. "Conservative leaning Centrist" is spot on, however.
What? Only 6% are similar?

Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! ~ GODI tend to expariment with my views ont hat test and tend to fluctate between Radical Libertarian and Left-Leaning Libertarian.

Why thank you, quiz, for telling me everything I already knew.
I feel that the linked initial test was "detailed", but the details were not particularly accurate.
Fight smart, not fair.Your scored -5.5 on Moral Order and 2.5 on Moral Rules.

I've been skewed left, from the look of it.
"Doctor Who means never having to say you're kidding." - BocajInteresting... Not only does it tell you where you belong on the spectrum, it gives you stuff that might interest you. God's Welfare System seems like a hilarious idea to throw at religious conservatives]], although we had a more advanced version in Islam.
"Sweets are good. Sweets are justice."Lolwut edit: hey, it actually is not so off...
edit: generic US-centrism rant
That holistic politics stuff seems quite interesting. I admit social welfare is not as codified in the Bible as it is (as far as I know) in Quran, but it's interesting to know there've been quite a number of left-leaning Christian politics.

"Atheism is the religion whose followers are easiest to troll"Calling them left-leaning would be like saying cathedrals are OHSA compliant. Technically true, but don't apply new labels to olds tuff...
"Sweets are good. Sweets are justice."The tests are better than the standard "Are you Blue or Green?" one-axis ones but many internet tests are made by (and at least unintentionally biased towards) either right- or left-libertarians, The Enhanced-Precision Political Quiz or The World's Smallest Political quiz are examples of the first and The Political Compass an example of the latter. The Moral Politics test seems fairly non-biased but the questions are somewhat vague. In these cases I've found useful to do the test twice, taking the extreme of what you could agree with in one direction and another extreme at the other (on a traditional one-axis system) and marking the resulting square. This doesn't show a single spot as conclusively but is more effective at avoiding inaccuracy due to vague questions. It requires understanding the underlying mechanics of the test though. (ie. which answer is in which direction and how strongly)
My own results are
Your scored -6 to -2.5 on Moral Order and 1.5 to -2 on Moral Rules. (Capital Democratism, Social Democratism, Progressivism or Activism)
Personal 59.8 to 94 and Economic 45.7 to 68.7 (Liberal-Leaning Centrist, Left-Leaning Freedom Lover, Libertarian-Leaning Centrist or Social Liberal)
And I agree with Ardiente; the methods used in government should be subject to scientific inquiry so we could debate only on goals and know how to get there. Unfortunately Blues and Greens alike have a lot of money and status in being Absolutely Correct in Everything and thus unbiased research is all but impossible and implementing the results of said research even more so.
I'm not into chariot racing.
@Ardiente: well, if we're to be honest, for me the only meaningful definitions of Left and Right are Progressive/Radical vs Conservative/Moderate as during The French Revolution. I was using the term colloquially, as a stand-in for some variety of socialist.
"Atheism is the religion whose followers are easiest to troll"My results:
Your scored 1.5 on Moral Order and -3.5 on Moral Rules.
1. System: Conservatism 2. Ideology: Capital Republicanism 3. Party: Republican Party 4. Presidents: Richard Nixon 5. 04' Election: George W. Bush 6. 08' Election: John Mc Cain
I ♥ the VRSWhy does "socialist" sound like an insult when Americans say it?
"Sweets are good. Sweets are justice."Perhaps because, more often than not, they are using it as one?
Scary Librarian | Hot Librarian | Spooky Silent Library | The Library Of BabelOh well. Red Scare scars, I guess. In France, from the sixties up until the nineties, saying you were "right wing" out loud was aoutside the Overton Window. They don't talk about it much today, but it's amazing to see those documentaries where you see eminent right-wingers such as Chirac and Sarkozy making one Suspiciously Specific Denial after another along the lines of "We are not right-wing, Gaullism is revolutionary, and anyone who says otherwise is an ignorant tit".
"Sweets are good. Sweets are justice."This seems about right.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Approximately 12% of the takers of this quiz scored in this area, 18% for all liberals outside the centrist circle.
Not so very far off, I guess. Hated those questions, though. Very US-centric, options way too specific for me to answer accurately, and too much emphasis on issues that I see as trivial.
Also, the BBC being given as the extreme opposite of uncensored TV is laughable.
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The Staffadmittedly I didn't get the whole BBC thing I don't know how that works but the programs i've seen come off as pretty uncensored. If anything i'd think Australia and Germany were far worse.
We must survive, all of us. The blood of a human for me, a cooked bird for you. Where is the difference? My views tend to be pretty left-libertarian, yet I scored a -3.5 on social order and 0.5 on social rules, which makes me a Social Democrat.

I now go by Graf von Tirol.Did two runs through, one "practical" and one "ideological." The first, I had (-5.5, 5), the second (-7.5, 7.5). Jibes nicely with my Political Compass score, which is somewhere around (-9, -9).
So, yeah. Extreme left. Shocker.
I like this test, though. More sensible than most.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.
