Yeah, it cut off! What a shame. I wonder if there's an upload for it.
We have poor internet too here. The Rev Major people just paid up their ass plus got a local telco as a sponsor and that puts heavy pressure on that telco to deliver...

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Do you have what it takes to control the Master of the Fist himself, SHIN AKUMA?
Having a good time with SFV now. And now that I do, I just gotta say one thing...
I hate that fucking rap in Ed's theme. Who the fuck thinks that having a rap as a fighting character theme a fricking good idea!? ... I wonder if Kolin also had the same thing. I think there was a rap during her trailer...

Street Fighter III
A corpse should be left well enough alone...I think SF 3 only had obvious raps like in the character select. Okay there's also Elena's stage, but still...
Also... is it just me or I'm REALLY disliking to fight Cammy. I dunno, most Cammy I encountered tend to be Japanese, and they tend to be doing great high low stuffs and overall just preventing my advances as they corner me. Never had this problems when I fight shotos or even sometimes Nash who doesn't spam his projectiles. But overall, yeah, Cammy is one fighter I seriously dread.
The other one I can't seem to absolutely win so far? Abigail. Guy tends to often take advantage of whiffs...

TBH rap is fitting for someone who likes to fight. Aggressive beats and rhythm, ego-pumping lyrics, the genre in itself isn't a bad pick. Also CVS 2 new york theme proves you wrong Chris, it can definitely work.
But yeah I'm not crazy about Ed or Kolin's themes. And elena never had rap in her theme lol.

Cammy is just so good right now, a contender for best character. She doesn't have any (grounded) overheads so you only need to watch for her jump-in before you block high. Her jump is fast, though. Her dive kick from the air is not an overhead so feel free to block that low. And her hooligan combination (the low spinning jump) also doesn't have any overheads so feel free to block low again, though you need to avoid the throw from that.
As for Abigail, well i dunno what to do about him yet. Nash is trash against him. Except mid Sonic Scythe from the correct distance. Not even Abigail can do much about that.
Wasn't that rap in Elena's third strike theme? Or is that actually in another genre of music?

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!Elena's Third Strike Theme was House music, not Rap. There's sampled vocals in that theme, but it's not rapping.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. There was zero rapping in Elena's theme.
BEATS IN MY HEAAAAD were literally the only lyrics, mixed and chopped in different intervals. I'm not sure what genre it is but it's far from rap.
I don't know if it counts, but there's the Arranged version of Gill's theme in New Generation, Judgement Day.
Because of the last line this song's lyrics were cut from the western releases of Capcom vs. SNK, but here's more.

New character Menat revealed in SFV.
Reminds me a little of Rose, thanks to the color scheme and projectile reflection. She's the first DLC character I'm actually interested in trying.
Even aside from that, she has a bit of a mystic thing going on and was talking a bit about fate on her intro.
Wake me up at your own risk.Heh. Both her English and Japanese VAs voiced Futaba. Can't help but feel that might've been an Actor Allusion.
For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughDepending where Rose is right now (is she gone now that Bison is finally gone?) maybe Menat is meant to be a meta and an in-universe replacement.
One Strip! One Strip!"The Days When My Mother Was an Egyptian Cosplayer and Beat Up People on the Street"
...Thought her voice sounded familiar.
Also, I'm really taken in by Menat's aesthetic. Kind of wish there was a new stage to go along with it.

She looks okay visually but idk her fighting style is a bit boring to me. It's basically just a ME TOO! Viola but in SF with Rose's moves.

Looks neat. Is she connected to Rose?
Rose's apprentice, apparently.
For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughI seriously thought Menat was being voiced by Cristina Valenzuela, but it turned out to be Erica Lindbeck.
Rats.
Also, is it me, or did SFV get a slight facelift? I haven't followed Street Fighter V closely, but I'm getting a nagging feeling from Menat's trailer that there's been some fine-tuning to the visuals...
I think Menat looks GORGEOUS.
But her Battle costume, the one that looks like Mileena's Flesh Pits costume, is just trashy as fuck.

The artstyle did not transition into 3D well. Looks hideous. I do like puzzle fighter so it's kind of a nice thing in theory but execution wise...ehhhhh.
Also after seeing her walk animation I'm 100% on menat now.

Someone needs to learn when it's better to leave things in 2D.
Wake me up at your own risk.
I personally watched as Daigo won the Abuget Cup since it was at Indonesia. Even if the very final match gets interrupted with stream blackout.
It may come off as a surprise for those who hasn't experienced Indonesian low-rate internet connection. But for us Indonesians... it was Tuesday. (OK, that was actually Sunday, but still.)
