I got ultra. Hugo seems like the most fun out of the newcomers and Poison isn't too bad either. Not digging Decapre at all(I thought she was an alternate Cammy but she's a different person thankfully, still kind of a meh character). I can't really get Rolento's flow but he doesn't seem like he'd be all that good. Elena plays a bit differently than 3rd Strike but I still kind of like her I guess, but man Capcom can't draw African characters to save their lives. Her dad/bro look like greek guys with a deep tan lol. Her English Dub's accent is way off too, it's funny how many dub V As fail at African accents in how unnatural and off they sound.

Elena's S Fx T dub was deeper and more authentically African-sounding. Her USFIV dub is more akin to her SFIII voice.

I'll admit that I don't like it as much as her S Fx T dub, but it is what comes to mind when I think of Elena's voice.

I changed my stance on Decapre, I actually kind of like her now.

I tried like 10 rank matches and lost ALL of them :[ Well one guy picked Seth and just spammed weak kick all match but I lost that on purpose because no one wants a win given. Still kind of funny though. But yeah most guys just get you in a huge combo and you're dead in like 3 of them. Bleh not my preferred playstyle of Street Fighter., this ain't Mahvel.

I then jumped to endless and got better results(or more like weaker opponents lol). Had a good match with a Hugo and E. Ryu where each one I pulled off a bloody high claw on wakeup one hit away from defeat and stole the round.

Still the input for that move is a mess. It's like why even do that Capcom? I much prefer the KOF style super input where it's like half-circle back -> forward in general over Capcom's preference for double quarter forward. The former seems to come out more consistently.

I'm complete garbage at chaining attacks and supers together, which is why I always play grapplers.

You know playing online has made me realize that I actually find Street Fighter more fun at lower levels of play :/ I just can't get behind comboz street fighter for some reason, maybe due to how SF combos work. I'm stuck in playing Street fighter like it's SF 2 so stuff like all this FADC into ultra stuff just baffles me and kind of makes me feel like i'm playing the wrong game. I just get rushed down/cross upped into oblivion and feel like I can't do a thing which sort of sucks the fun out of it for me.

oddly enough in real life I always have fun with it, so idk.

Amusingly, I can't stand Ko F inputs. They're clunkier and harder to do in the spur of the moment. Doesn't help that Ko F is stricter with its input reading.

Alas, still waiting for Ultra to drop on PC....

Just got Ultra. I swear, Hugo's commands seem more difficult to do than I thought. And his backbreaker is really wonky. Satisfying though.

The netcode took a nosedive on Steam after the move but I am still hopeful it'll get better.

Got my pre-order costumes and S Fx TK game save costumes too. Totally filing that under Old Save Bonus.

And I got some great news. Decapre plays totally different from cammy. So there's that.

I've got huge problems playing online. If I try a quick match, the game crashes instantly, back to desktop without warning. If I do a custom match... the game lags horrendously for a couple second, and then I lose the connection to my opponent. I hope they fix this soon, I was looking forward to play against some newbie like me!

Helena is pretty dope, though. But no challenges yet? Come on, I use those to learn a character!

From what I saw in the steam forums they are aware of the online issues at least.

That said I forgot this was on Steam, may buy it tomorrow. Although even if it was good, online's out of the question for me since connection drops to complete trash too often.

So I've decided to take advantage of the Capcom sale and I've slowly been getting into playing Street Fighter (in-between binging on Charlie Murder and Always Sunny ) and it's still as awkward to get into as I remember.

Feh, whatever. I'm on the 360 and my pseudonym there is "Hoarseplay." I primarily play as Cody, Alex and Sean. Sometimes Makoto, Dudley, or Remy/Guile.

So yeah, if'n ya see me, come by and beat my ass into the ground.

and I'm Mighty Kombat on Steam and "Mighty Joestar" on XBLA if anyone cares. I haven't got Xbox Live Gold tho (seriously microsoft what the shit)

I have Steam, but since I have a pretty low-spec computer, I haven't gotten much use out of it. I pretty much only used it for the brief period it was integrated into DFO, and played Terraria with a friend when it came out.^note Didn't care for it
