Here's the place to inquire about pages whose images aren't potholed to anything.
Google Image Search and Tineye are good resources.
Images Without a Source lists the pages that have been discussed in this thread but haven't been sourced yet. Once a source is found for an image, please add it to the appropriate Image Source pagenote and remove it from Images Without a Source.
About Images and Copyright covers our general policies about image use; see here for more details and Image Pickin' forum policies. It's always a good idea to link images to their original versions and (when available) providing a link to the artist's site when they are located, especially if we're given permission to use an image.note

It's a Star Wars comic of some sort, given the pilot's Rebel Alliance insignia, but beyond that I couldn't tell you. (Ah, ninja'ed.)

Jet-a-Reeno!According to that page, the full title of the work is "Star Wars: Empire: Darklighter" (redlink test)
Okay, Star Wars Empire Darklighter, Star Wars Empire, and Star Wars: Empire: Darklighter all come out red, so Star Wars Expanded Universe?

But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold. That's where I left the pothole. Unless we have Star Wars Empire which would I guess be the parent series.
Fight smart, not fair.Note that's one of the ones I already tried.
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.Just checking. Course... Comics.Star Wars Empire?
Fight smart, not fair.Just Comics.Star Wars maybe?
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.Perhaps on Comics.Star Wars Expanded Universe? If not, I'm just leaving it be.
Fight smart, not fair.Looks like we've exhausted 'em all.
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold. They Call Me MISTER Tibbs!. Should probably trim that description too.
Fight smart, not fair. That image is from Mr. A (a work that doesn't seem to have a page yet), by Steve Ditko (who does.)

Wheres she from? Not even the people in discussion knows.
"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Almost positive its from the The Monster Girl Encyclopedia.
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Haven't found it in the linked translations yet, though.
But soft! What rock through yonder window breaks? It is a brick! And Juliet is out cold.Huh, I had a hunch, and it turned out to be correct. That's the Space Shuttle.
Jet-a-Reeno!No, the demon girl isn't the style of The Monster Girl Encyclopedia. Not fantasy-ish enough

Should non-fanart images pothole to their respective artists?

"Doctor Who means never having to say you're kidding." - BocajIt depends. The preferred method is to ask the creator if they have a way they want their work credited, if at all. Most of the time it will wind up with a pothole pointed toward their site with the caption pointed at the source series. It's possible for the other way around to happen as well.
Fight smart, not fair. Not quite what I meant. We use a fair number of old artworks in the public domain. If we use a picture by, say, Piet Mondrian, would a picture go to his (non-existent) page? Or could we pothole the image to Wikipedia?
"Doctor Who means never having to say you're kidding." - BocajI'm not so sure. The MGE is known for being NSFW. If that image came from there, she'd be wearing a lot less clothing and be in a more provocative pose.
It's definitely Star Wars Expanded Universe, I don't know the specific comic though. I'll pothole to that.
