I imagine Samus doing lots of charity work in her spare time next to her saving whatever planets or civilizations she stumbles upon.
Charity work in full combat equipment!
She probably donates a lot of her credits to direct reconstruction efforts after she blows up a Space Pirate contingent on a GF colony, too.
Seriously, Samus is a superhero.
I sure said that!Well to be fair, the Charities she helps out are the only ones that are guaranteed to not be raided by space pirates.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersSamus is secretly building an army to take over the universe.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Just like her step-mom Mother Brain!
Chozo might suck at parenting.
I'm actually reminded more of Batman.
Samus Aran and Robin the Girl Chozo Wonder
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWasn't there one Metroid comic where she had a sidekick named Joey?
Yep.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!@Geist-Fox: Actually, Samus Aran's powered armor would have a lot of Mundane Utility for construction applications. Heavy lifting, for example. Also the Grapple Beam, too. Plus her plasma beam would make a great thermic lance and welding tool.
So, yeah, it's entirely plausible that Samus would help out with reconstructing damaged cities in her spare time.
"Any campaign world where an orc samurai can leap off a landcruiser to fight a herd of Bulbasaurs will always have my vote of confidence"Joey was a kid Samus sort of picked up during an adventure that stuck around. They had four volumes of stories together.
There was also that one obscure fancomic that used to be on the Bob and George website.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerI never finished reading that webcomic.
I remember Joey from there.
I like this headcanon.
I just started a replay of Corruption and something in Rundas' logbook entry stuck out to me.
I like the fact the writer of the logbook automatically places Samus a tier above the other Hunters. Who writes that anyway?

Some people say it's Samus in the third person but I think it's the ship's AI.
Oh really when? That was probably written with Samus's Hypermode in mind.
Yeah, I figured that it referred to Hypermode vs. Hypermode.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Yeah, that does make sense. However I like interpreting it as the ship AI (or whoever writes the log) being confidant in Samus.
Well, she is considered the galaxy's best bounty hunter after all.

Is this a Jo Jo reference?I bet the AI was programmed by Samus.
"Any campaign world where an orc samurai can leap off a landcruiser to fight a herd of Bulbasaurs will always have my vote of confidence"Samus found a floppy disk labeled "Instant AI" is a box of Gray Voice's things.
When all you have is power armor bristling with weapons, everything looks like a nail.
