And the final part of the stage loop would feature the platforms being swallowed and vomited up by Hades.
...My idea was basically just porting Lightning Battle's entire aerial section in, with altered graphics obviously, and not tons of enemies. And the default stage theme would be the theme from the level, synched up like it is in the game.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Mybe they could have the tons of enemies, but in the background.
It is Hades Vs. Viridi after all.
For Those who Seek the Thrill of Death: A Dramatic SMT3 Hard PlaythroughYeah, I meant enemies in the background fighting, but probably not the ones that attack Pit during the stage rather than the other enemies. Though I do figure having some hazards on the stage unlike Lylat Cruise would be nice, but I figured that could be the lightning strikes during the cyclone tunnel. If that made any sense.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I'm kinda hoping for some of the veteran franchises to try out new ideas for stages, like a Star Fox stage where we don't fight on ships in space (I would choose Planet Sauria).
Another good idea I had was making the Yoshis Island stage "The Cave of Chomp Rock" instead of another Green Hill Zone.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMMaybe a good Yoshi's Island stage could be a Mushroomy Kingdom type scrolling stage. The only idea I have though is the room where Kamek is attacking you on the way to fight Bowser.
I mean, we could have "The Very Looooooong Cave", but I doubt anyone would like that.
WAIT!!! I'VE GOT IT! A stage inspired by "Touch Fuzzy, Get Dizzy!" Interface Screw at its finest!

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. We can get that anyway, of course, so long as there's a stage for which it would be fitting.
I think that Bowser's Castle as a scrolling stage might be neat, still. Weren't we talking about using that skull raft before?
Well, there might be a new Yoshi game on the Wii U, so...
If it was made by Retro Studios, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI'd love a new Yoshi's Island game on the Wii U. Even if it were less of a whole new game and more like a Mission-Pack Sequel to the original (While Yoshi's Island DS was good, most of the complaints regarding it were the changes made to it in regard to the original, such as additional babies).
Though I do wonder how possible it is to make the Yoshi's Island art style on the Wii U. The art style is very important to Yoshi's Island.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I always thought the best way would be to make it with Hand-Drawn Graphics. It would suit the whole "drawn with crayons" look, plus games with hand-drawn graphics (Rayman Origins) look amazing.
Wait, what?
For all intents and purposes he's a video game accessory, like a Super Scope.
Warning! Challenger approaching! N64 Rumble Pak
A clone character...
How the heck is it any different from Olimar and the Distant Planet stage?
The reason their are no Animal Crossing characters is because it would be stupid and you couldn't get a full moveset out of a character.
I'd rather them just bring back Mewtwo instead of having a Gen V rep for the sake of it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8yAjWvAqyMI personally loved the cave stages. Though I'd gladly settle for a Yoshi's Island stage not unlike Brawl's. The seasons thing is kinda pointless though.
Speaking of Yoshi, I want Kamek as a second Yoshi rep. Still unsure about Final Smash though. Supersizing an enemy or something is too generic...
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Nope, it's because the AC characters are from a peaceful society.
So... yeah, you're kind of wrong on that. Nobody is hard to make a character for. R.O.B. has almost no abilities beyond Gyromite and his other game. Everything else was entirely made up. AC characters have various weapons, can clearly move, run, possibly jump, use various items from the actual games in a special way, and so on. It was not a lack of moves, it was a lack of "will to fight".

Quest 64 threadI do like that they at least put in an Animal Crossing stage.
One problem I've had with stages lately is that I can't imagine what else to give some series. I mean, what kind of new AC stage could you make? Sure, bringing back Smashville would be nice, but most series get new stages. Same with Ice Climber, can't think of much besides Melee's and Brawl's. I like Brawl's, though, wouldn't mind if they brought it back and didn't give Ice Climber a new stage.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! They could add a city for another Animal Crossing stage. Ice Climber could do without anymore stages since it was never that big to begin with.
edit: The franchises that I want to see more stages for are Kid Icarus and Fire Emblem. Sonic too if they add him again.

As long as they at least keep their old stage, that's fine with me. Having no stages at all would be a shame.
Also, I really hope they do the Dojo again. I loved checking daily updates there, was a ton of fun. Even when it was small stuff, it was nice to learn that little facet.
I hope this time around the game doesn't get delayed as much as Brawl did. Better yet, I hope they do simultaneous releases instead of releasing it first in Japan, then America, ect.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I would prefer if every series with a playable character got atleast one new stage, with the rest in past stages.
As for Ice Climbers, not sure what a new stage could be. I do agree their current one is a lot better than Icicle Mountain, on the other hand, they could have a new one. I'd rather Smashville just stay instead. There's not much more to do with it, imo.
AC was well-repped anyway. Item, Stage, and Trophies for a non-playable series(as a character) is good. Not many even got that far.
It was fun. And spoileriffic. But fun. I'd actually prefer bi-weekly updates, if only so really useless stuff that almost nobody cares about(since somebody will care eventually) would come in a bundle. But daily works too. Either or.

Quest 64 threadOh definitely. They could probably redo it like they did with the Pokemon Stadium but I think they should at least keep the same number of representative stages from each franchise. They just need to increase certain franchise counts and maybe add a few more.
I wouldn't mind seeing a Boxing ring, the Bionis leg or Sword Valley, and a Holiseum.

Maybe they could include all the Brawl stages as an Old Save Bonus for those who have Brawl save files?
Also, I really need to wonder why they pimp the Ice Climbers so much in this series if Nintendo never actually does anything with them. It's high time they got some new game. They must be the least-known characters in the entire Smash series.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.I do think all the stages they have now should stay unless they're replacing them with something else.
It's probably just them respecting their legacy. They have Star Fox, Captain Falcon, and such in the series all the time despite them not having any new games in a while.
No on the Brawl save bonus. You cannot directly send it to a memory card, and have to transfer the entire game data to the Wii U. As well as the rest of your Wii. It's not worth it. Or you have to start a game on your Wii U to get the bonus. Maybe it could be alternate unlock, though?
If you could save normal Brawl on a SD Memory Card, I'd agree, though.
Quest 64 thread
... !
Something like the rock platforms held by the Nutskis and Centurions in Chapter 17? I'm going a little off the rails here, but an "Air Battle" stage that had several background appearances by the bosses and enemies of Uprising sounds pretty darn cool.
I sure said that!
