Super Smash Bros.

I personally like Jin more than Heihachi too.

Heihachi is more iconic overall than Jin is.

That said, I wouldn't mind Jin being playable either, I'd just rather have Heihachi be playable.

Although I'd prefer Klonoa or Lloyd to be the second Namco rep.

One character I'd really like to see in even though I know he has no chance of getting in is Travis Touchdown.

What do you mean "more like?" Nobody was disputing that. There was just people saying they prefer Jin (honestly I'd take Kazuya over Heihachi too).

I wasn't even seeing anyone dispute it.

Anyways, I think Jin or Heihachi would be the Tekken representative.

There was actually a Digimon Smash Bros clone. It really sucked, but a Digimon in Smash Bros proper could take inspiration from it.

Well, for starters, you don't have to make models like with characters and stages.

He takes everything from gamebanana, don't be silly.... In terms of who I'd like in Smash 5, I personally would like to see Snake return. But, like, with his PM moveset. I'd also like someone from the tales games, Jude, Luke, someone. Also someone from Castlevania would be nice, I'd take almost anyone but Soma Cruz would be ideal.

I really can't think of any video game character who I wouldn't like being in Smash, quite honestly. I'd even take freaking Bubsy if he looked good!

If I had to be specific, though, I wouldn't mind seeing Rayman, Banjo/Kazooie, K. Rool, or even Waluigi become playable in Smash. Pokemon wise, I'd wouldn't mind seeing one of the Gen 6 or 7 Pokemon starters, Zoroark, or even Ludicolo.

Still wish Bomberman or Master Higgins could be in Smash in some form.... (glares at Konami)

Definitely agree with having someone from the Tales series. The controls in those games are already kinda like Smash, and whoever they'd pick would have plenty of attacks to choose from. I'd say Lloyd is most likely because Symphonia is so well known, and he already had a Mii costume. He also uses two swords, which no one else in Smash really does, so that makes him a little more unique than just another anime swordfighter.

I figure the difference between Lloyd and Elma would be that Elma has two guns as well.

The hard part isn't the moveset, it's making sure Scorpion fits well within the settings while still feeling like a Mortal Kombat kharacter. Obviously fatalities/blood would be cut out, but he's still very violent, so his attacks should have a lot of impact to them(not necessarily high-damaging or actually send the enemies far), but it should look like they hurt. That's part of MK's design, high violence.

The spear is probably the easiest move to translate, since it can be similar to the Hookshot as is.

If Scorpion were in Smash, I want the spear to be on neutral-Special, just so I can hear Kirby say "Come here!" or "Get over here!"

And yeah, that'd be an awesome Neutral B. Side B works well for the Flame Breath. Or Down B. The other could be his Teleport Punch. Hard to say what his recovery should be. The thing about the Teleport Punch is that it's used fairly similar to Lucario's Counter in design. You appear behind the guy and punch them in the back.

They could make Scorpion work, since Injustice has Scorpion without any fatalities and little to no blood. A better question would be if Scorpion can even get considered by the Sakurai.

Sakurai might be the biggest hurdle for Scorpion having any chance, since I'm not too sure most of Japan even know many western developed games. Notice how the entire Smash roster, down to the guest characters, are all of Japanese origin.

Well, Diddy Kong is debatable, because Rare made him, but Konkey Dong as a franchise originates from Japan, making Diddy's spot something of an "immigrant?"

I also think it's important to note that Western Fighters are typically looked down upon in Japan- so the chances of him getting considered period are pretty low.
