Huh ._. Lab Zero's next game looks interesting xD
I don't get it (and I haven't paid much attention to the developer side of Skullgirls, but I'm going to complain about it as though I did). Lab Zero can create an entirely new game, but a Skullgirls sequel probably isn't happening.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Where did you hear this? All they've said right now is that they're kind of tired of making Skullgirls content and want to branch out and try new things before coming back to Skullgirls with a sequel.
It is a pretty big mothatruckin project tho. The $1500k goal is no small feat, I really worry they won't make it.
It is also a bit funny that Them's Fighting Herds is about halfway in their campaign.

OH GOD WHY AM I A CAR!? - ForzareIt is quite worrisome that they won't make it - $1.5M is extremely ambitious (especially for an IGG gaming project), but we should get a better picture after a day or three. Given their timeframe (41 days) and the fact that it is getting not-insignificant funding, it's reasonably possible, but it will probably be close either way.
So I've been watching walkthrough videos of the voiced story modes in 2nd Encore. What I've heard thus far is really great!
My only real gripe is how Dr. Avian sounds rather like Doc Brown. I always heard him as sounding like Jeffrey Combs when he voices Ratchet.
Eh, oh well.

I don't think Phil would say that. I mean, if he hated Skullgirls that much he wouldn't have allowed Lab Zero to put the game on his consoles.
That being said, Halo IS pretty awesome.
You can't get it wrong if it's the truth! However, GIFT and What You Are in the Dark totally applies when you think your channel of communication is confidential.
It could just be bias on my part though. Thanks to Angry Joe, I always had headcanon that Phil Spencer was a jerkass.

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes! All I know is that he hates the console wars. Sounds like a pretty chill guy to me.
You can't get it wrong if it's the truth!Didn't ever said they were doing sequel xD
And I checked crowdfunding thread :P They have indie gogo for action rpg called Indivisible going on
Speaking of their other game, I just updated that game's thread with some recent info, including a proto-demo build of the game.

Holy shit Toa Yukinari in a fucking MAJOR ROLE for once!
Even if it is Cerebella.
Also hoping Nadia's VA doesn't give her a stereotypical squeaky screechy cat voice. I fucking loved Kimlinh Tran, I did.

Valentine having Chihaya's VA is enough reason for me to give her a chance.
Well, Ms.Fortune is also JP Sophie. Not sure how much that helps.

I think I remember JP Sophie being nice so that'll work
How well will this translate? So much of the humor is English specific jokes and shout outs.
I notice the only male voice actor who's been announced is Big Band's. No Samson, Leviathan, or Beowulf.
So I'm picking this up again after owning it since release. After spending 2 hours in the tutorial mode doing everything except for the DLC character specific trials, I think I'm ready to finally tackle story mode. My plan is to play through the original cast, followed by the DLC characters (since I'm under the impression that those characters reveal a lot more to the story and/or build off each other moreso than the main cast does).
I may or may not save Peacock for last since I heard her story is the least serious (at least before the DLC characters were released), but I was wondering if there was any "preferred" order that people have suggested (like playing Filia's story before Squiggly's).

Parasoul's has the most exposition on what's going overall, so start with her. From there it's pretty loose, though some do seem to follow up others.
Ms Fortune's to Cereballa's, for example.
Painwheel's to Filia's is another.
Double's should be done last of the original cast. DLC characters (Robo Fortune and Fukua aside) I suppose go something like... Squiggly, Big Band, Beowulf, and Eliza. Though again. Everything is really loose and self contained for the most part.
It's just Squigly. Only 1 Q.
Anyway, Samson does have his JP VA announced; Takashi Kondo (Faust and Potemkin in Guilty Gear).
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit! So Skullgirls 2 might happening if the new game gets enough support...
Mileena MadnessI would think they'd get Iron Tager's voice instead of Ragna's... can't wait to see how this turns out, though!

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!@Mizerous IF it gets enough support.
Where was this said? Not that I doubt them saying that, of course.
The crowdfund for Indivisible is in around $425,000 last I checked (link's in my sig). They still have around 20 days to hit $1.5 mil, but I'm not sure they'll make it at the moment, even accounting for the final days' burst of support.
While I'm here I should mention Indivisible is also PS 4 console exclusive specifically because of Phil Schiller and it the Xbone's architecture. AFAIK L0 found a leaked email regard Skullgirls where he basically said (paraphrasing) "screw their waifu fighting crap, people come to Xbox for our original I Ps like Forza and Halo", which officially set L0 on a "no Xbox ever" policy.
Edit:Fuck I meant Phil Spencer, Phil Schiller's the Apple dude. I always keeping getting them confused, damn.
