This is the thread for discussion of The Order of the Stick plot, characters, etc. We have a separate thread for discussing game rules and mechanics. Excessive rules discussions here may be thumped as off-topic.

And now it's stuck in my head.
That is the TRUE rickroll. Having the video show up instead of something you were expecting is just a prank. It's only truly heinous when you find yourself humming it for the rest of the day.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Well, TV Tropes itself was once described as "Kind of like rickrolling, except you're trapped all day..."
New Comic that helps show us exactly how prepared Scoundrel's crew is. Quite funny.

Hey, someone as dashing as Julio Scoundrél could never manage without his personal sartorial adviser! Risk defeat and death, sure! But you must never be seen in tasteless clothes.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"It probably affects Dashing Swordsman class features.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.^ Or could just be impatience to get going and he just threw on anything.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpI wonder if Andi's apparent unhappiness with Bandana's new leadership role is supposed to be leading up to anything?
Y'know, I would have thought it was nothing more than the stereotype of the grumpy mechanic/engineer, but the way Bandana is upset and glaring at Andi even after she walks away makes me think that it is some sort of Chekov's Gun, or at least going to be used for further character development or something. (The line about "grubby little gnomes" doesn't seem very promising for Andi either.)
| Wandering, but not lost. | If people bring so much courage to this world...◊ |Nah, I doubt it'll get into real subplot. He's just grumpy over how bad his beloved engine is screwed up, typical engineer character trait.
Yeah, I don't think every "people not liking each other very much and/or being grumpy" thing needs to descend into villainy. :P
At worst, I think they'll start shouting at each other in a critical situation instead of acting optimally as a group, in perfect "the leader is missing" tradition.
Dissension among the crew- isnt that a trope of some kind?
Ah right. Sometimes kinda hard to tell with the stick figures
The Mutiny, if it gets bad enough.
Hopefully it won't come to that. The Resenter, perhaps? It Should Have Been Me, maybe?
Edit: Odd, I could have sworn that was a trope...

Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youNo, I mean it results in some sort of standard miscommunication. I wish I could remember...
Just plain Poor Communication Kills?
Joke? Why are you calling it a joke? You drew a picture of two dudes hugging and wrote "I love hugs!" on it.That happens pretty much in OOTS.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.
I think we can agree that "Never Gonna Give You Up" perfectly sums up Elan's feelings for Haley, and his commitment to steadfast honesty, fidelity, and affection for her. So it is relevant!
