In electronics, the reference point for voltages is ground. Usually all current returns to ground. So in a basic circuit (using conventional flow) the power could emanate from a battery, flow through the components, and at various points, return to ground (often the other terminal of the battery).
Interesting symbol use there.

I've changed it twice, in fact. But the differences are not obvious.
So- why is the large robot's chassis left there on the floor and not cleared away? It probably could be disassembled. Maybe it's better intact, so it can be studied.

Well, it depends. Andrew and Parley are denying their feelings for each other to themselves; Janet and Winsbury are denying it to everyone else.
But I don't think either would cause this...suddenness in Annie. Maybe she just stumbled on some new info about one of the couples involved in the Myth Arc.
