- Americans Hate Tingle: Due to negative reviews and low interest from Hispanic viewers, only the first season was dubbed into Spanish.
- Cult Classic: Due to its moments that is campy by viewers and neat visuals along with many references to pop culture, the show is in the process of gaining a cult following from viewers alike. Many hope that the reboot or the revival will explore the characters and other aspects of the show.
- Harsher in Hindsight: At the end of "A Slight Mthunderstanding", after it was revealed that Mth celebrates a different holiday instead of April Fools Day known as Be Thoughtful Day in his culture, the Narrator jokingly mentions that this is the final episode of Captain Flamingo ever, which was a just an April Fools joke. This line stops being funny when you realize that the show was indeed canceled after its third season.
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- "Alley Oops!" has Milo and Lizbeth going to the movies to watch "Return to Unicorn Island" which happens to have a huge adult fanbase. Two years after this show ended, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic would attract a large fanbase of adults. Even more hilarious when you realize that the voice of Milo, Tabitha St. Germain, has had major roles on both series, with her voicing Rarity on Friendship Is Magic.
- Retroactive Recognition:
- Character designer and storyboard artist Pat Pakula went on to work at Sony Pictures Animation on the infamous Surf's Up 2: WaveMania and The Emoji Movie as a storyboard artist, and would later direct for The Loud House and The Chicken Squad.
- Writer Edward Kay (who only wrote "Warrior Monkey, M.D.") would later co-create Jimmy Two-Shoes.
- Animator Clio Chiang would later went on to become a storyboard artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios.
