- Awesome Music:
- The opening titles song, "Land of the Dead" by Voltaire.
- Billy's song "Scary-O". Richard Steven Horvitz really got to show off his singing chops.
- The end credits had Earth, Wind & Fire's "Boogie Wonderland".
- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: "Hoss Delgado did not appear in this movie."
- Cargo Ship: As always, Grim and his Scythe. He goes through the Five Stages of Grief when he loses it, and reacts very much like reuniting with a lost love when he gets it back.Grim: (hugging the scythe close to him) I missed you so much! (kisses the blade a few times)
- Hilarious in Hindsight: At one point in the movie, the gang is drugged by a birthday cake, which turns out to have been a trap set by Billybot and Mandroid for Boogey. Less than a year after this movie's release, a certain video game would also have a cake as a trap set by an evil robot.
- Suspiciously Similar Song: During the Cannibal Run race, there's a point where the music sounds almost exactly like the Monkey Island theme.
