Winx Club is no ordinary fantasy sitcom, its serialized narrative is chock-full of Wham Episodes. Here are a few examples.
Season 1
- Friends In Need: Bloom has a dream where she meets the mysterious nymph Daphne.
- Secrets Within Secrets: Diaspro reveals "Brandon" is the real Prince Sky of Eraklyon, and she is engaged to him.
- The Font Of Dragon Fire: Icy reveals to Bloom Daphne is her sister, she is the last remaining heir of the planet Domino and its princess, and the Trix steal her Dragon Flame powers.
- The Crown Of Dreams: Bloom learns she was sent to Earth as a baby when Domino was under attack. She also begins her Series Goal to find her missing birth parents.
Season 2
- Up To Their Old Trix: Aisha joins the Winx as a sixth member.
- Professor Avalon's Secret: Bloom learns her birth parents were King Oritel and Queen Marion of Domino.
- Crypt Of The Codex: Bloom learns she has healing powers; the Trix also get the first piece of the Codex.
- Spy In The Shadows: Bloom sees her birth parents for the first time in a dream. In addition, she is corrupted into giving the third piece of the Codex to Darkar.
- Pixie Village: Darkar has all four pieces of the Codex.
- Darkar's Prisoner: Bloom discovers the "Avalon" she met was one of Darkar's minons in disguise, and she is corrupted into Dark Bloom.
Season 3
- Sea of Fear: Valtor casts a spell on Aisha's eyes, causing her to go blind.
- Layla's Choice: Aisha sacrifices the chance to regain her sight and uses the Coral Gem to heal Queen Ligea. Because of this, she earns her "final transformation" - Enchantix.
- The Company of the Light: Aisha uses her fairy dust to break Valtor's spell on her eyes and regains her sight. In addition, the Ancestral Witches were also mentioned for the first time.
- A Disloyal Adversary: Sky is placed under a love spell by Diaspro, breaking up with Bloom. In addition, Stella uses all her energy to protect her father from a dragon and earns her Enchantix.
- The Heart and the Sword: Stella breaks Sky's spell with her fairy dust.
- One Last Fluttering of Wings: Tecna sacrifices herself to close the Omega portal, earning her Enchantix, but getting sucked in before it closes.
- Fury!: The Winx disband because Tecna isn't with them anymore. Valtor also reveals more info about Bloom's parents; that they were fighting him among with the rest of the Company of Light, but were no match for him and the Ancestral Witches and disappeared, presumably forever.
- From the Ashes: On Pyros, Bloom focuses her energy and strength to defeat the Trix and earns her Enchantix.
- In the Snake's Lair: Tecna is found, and the Winx Club reunite.
- Valtor's Box: Bloom discovers her Enchantix is incomplete, because she did not earn it through sacrifice.
- The Wizard's Challenge: Aisha discovers the mysterious Ophir is Nabu, the man whom she was arranged a marriage with, and they decide to put it off.
- Witches' Revelation: Bloom learns from the Ancestral Witches that her parents are still alive, but trapped somewhere in an unknown dimension far away.
- The Secret of the Lost Kingdom: Bloom discovers why her parents disappeared (Oritel was pulled into the Obsidian Circle and petrified, while Marion was absorbed into his sword so she wouldn't leave him), destroys Mandragora with Sky's help, saving Domino and completing her Enchantix, and she is finally reunited with her birth parents. The Winx also graduate and become guardian fairies. But in the process of this however, she accidentally frees the spirits of the Ancestral Witches and they possess the Trix as their new hosts.
Season 4
- The Fairy Hunters: The Wizards of the Black Circle arrive, and announce they're looking for the last fairy on Earth. The Winx also learn there are an infinite amount of fairy levels after Enchantix, with the next one being Believix. In addition, the Winx discover their Enchantix is ineffective against the Wizards, and only Believix can combat their power.
- A Fairy In Danger: Roxy is revealed to be the last fairy on Earth, and her belief in fairies causes the Winx to earn their Believix.
- The Enchanted Island: The White Circle sends the Winx to Tir Nan Og, where they meet the Earth fairies and free them. But they turn out to be not the nice creatures they imagined, and vow revenge on humans for sealing them away.
- The Day Of Justice: Nabu sacrifices his energy to destroy Duman, dying in the process, and Aisha joins Nebula to avenge his death.
- Morgana's Secret: Morgana reveals she is Roxy's mother.
- Ice And Fire: The Winx, Roxy, the Earth fairies and Nebula destroy the Wizards of the Black Circle, freezing them in ice, Nebula becomes the new queen of the Earth fairies, and Roxy accepts a scholarship at Alfea.
Season 5
- Return to Alfea: Daphne reveals Sirenix is cursed and when she used it, she became a spirit without a body as she is now. Sky also gets amnesia after a blow to the head by Icy.
- The Power Of Harmonix: The Sirenix Book finally opens, beginning the Sirenix Quest, and the Winx are granted Harmonix to aid them in their quest. They are also warned if they don't complete the quest within one lunar cycle, they will lose their powers forever.
- Secret Of The Ruby Reef: Daphne is captured by the Trix and Tritannus.
- Sirenix: As the episode title suggests, the Winx complete the Sirenix Quest and gain Sirenix, granting them access to the Infinite Ocean.
Season 6
- The Flying School: A failed battle causes the Winx to lose their powers, except Bloom because she possesses the Dragon Flame. She shares her flame with the others, and Faragonda reveals they'll earn a new power from such if they perform a good deed.
- Mystery of Calavera: The Winx discover from Eldora that if they stay in the Legendarium World for far too long, they will become trapped there as fictional characters.
- The Anthem: The Winx had to trade the Legendarium Key in exchange for Musa's voice with Rumpelstiltskin. Riven breaks up with Musa permanently and leaves the Specialists.
Season 7:
- The First Color of the Universe: Roxy's time stone is stolen by Braffilius.
Season 8:
- A Kingdom Of Lumens: The Winx discover that Valtor is Not Quite Dead. Riven also comes back and rejoins the Specialists.
- The White Fox: The Trix aren't really sisters; Icy only has one biological sister: Sapphire, who was turned into a fox cub by a shaman witch who cursed her home planet. Because of this, Icy was determined to become the most powerful witch ever, searching for a power that would save her sister.
- Written in the Stars: Icy discovers the last prime star is not strong enough to break the curse on Sapphire, the Trix briefly side with the Winx to fight Valtor, and the Winx use their powered-up Cosmix to destroy Valtor forever.
