BOO! It's Sex is a Website/Webtoon comic series created by Danielle Corsetto and Monica Gallagher.

The story focuses on four girls who move into a college dorm, only to find a ghost of a dead sorority girl named Tara stuck in a tequila bottle. From there, Tara helps these girls, in her words get "mad laid".

In essence, it's an Edutainment comic about sex and how to do it safely.

It can be found here.

Boo! It's Sex features the following tropes:

  • All Guys Want Sorority Women: Implied to be the case with Tara. When she was alive, she was a pretty blonde sorority girl who had lots of sex (and not just with men!).
  • Am I Just a Toy to You?: Troy breaks up with Denise after realizing that she slept with another man while they were together. Because neither had articulated their desires for the relationship, he expected them to be exclusive, while Denise expected an open relationship. Denise is heartbroken, since Troy was the only man she had considered for a long-term relationship.
  • And the Adventure Continues: The girls ultimately decide not to tell Tara about how she died and let her spirit stay in the dorm to continue her lessons on sex. Sure enough, new college students move into the dorm ready for more sex lessons.
  • Animal Chick Magnet: Christine meets Ansh when she stops to pet a therapy dog at the booth he's staffing.
  • Asian and Nerdy: Kim, who looks to be Asian, is the only one of the main cast who is interested in studying for class.
  • Audience Surrogate: Each college girl represents a different kind of girl learning about sex:
    • While Lindsey has experience, she expects things to work out like in the sex movies and is clueless about how things work in real life when it comes to first times and relationships.
    • Denise is the most sexually active of the four, and always looking to try new things.
    • Christine acts as the newcomer, unsure if she wants sex and curious to learn how things work.
    • Kim is asexual and the only one not interested in sex, but she is curious on how to keep the private parts of her body healthy.
  • Big Beautiful Woman: Denise is the curviest of the group and is popular with the guys.
  • Book Ends: The story starts with the girls moving into the dorm, noting how the place is a dump. The final chapter has a couple of boys moving in who note that the place is a dump.
  • Casual Kink: It's all part of the sex positivity! Tara encourages the girls to explore their interests, from butt plugs to whips to outercourse with exotic fabrics.
  • Closet Key: Lindsey realizes she likes women because of her attraction to Kim.
  • Comically Missing the Point: Christine is nervous about bringing Ansh home and asks Tara not to show up if she does. Tara assures Christine that it's no problem if she meets Ansh since she will not try to seduce him away from Christine. In truth, Christine thinks having a ghost around will freak Ansh out and make him leave.
  • Deadly Prank: The girls look into Tara's death to determine if it was a prank gone wrong or a case of foul play. It was a prank, though the details are not specified.
  • Did You Just Have Sex?: Apparently Tara's ghost powers include sensing when somebody has developed a crush, had a kiss, had sex, or just a really good date.
  • Embarrassing Hobby: Kim loves musicals but asks Lindsey to keep it a secret. It becomes an open secret, since the other housemates can hear the music through the walls.
  • Ethical Slut: Tara had an extremely active and adventurous sex life when she was alive. As a ghost, she delights in helping her housemates build better love lives and is very cheerful and friendly. Denise, who is the most sexually active of the living housemates, is also a good person who never sets out to hurt anyone, though she can be thoughtless at times.
  • Genie in a Bottle: Tara emerges from a tequila bottle and is mistaken for a genie at first.
  • Hidden Depths: As shown in one talk with Denise, Tara is actually a fan of Star Wars.
  • Incompatible Orientation: Lindsey and Kim have a brief romance, but it doesn't last because Kim is asexual while sex is important to Lindsey.
  • Intimate Telecommunications: Christine and Ansh sext each other. Unfortunately, Ansh leaves his laptop open where his father can find it...
  • Lesbian Jock: Lindsey and Melanie both enjoy sports and live an active lifestyle. It's not clear if Lindsey is a lesbian or bi, but she is definitely a woman who loves other women.
  • Lets Wait Awhile: Ansh and Christine want to wait until they're ready to have penetrative sex. In the meantime, they find safer ways to enjoy themselves.
  • My Girl Is a Slut: Tara is proud of her strident sexuality and wants to get the girls "mad laid." She is supportive of their sex lives and praises them for making choices that are true to themselves, whether that means having many partners or none.
  • No Guy Wants an Amazon: Lindsey is muscular and athletic, which causes her first boyfriend to admit that she isn't his type. And also since she can out-bench him by 20 pounds.
  • Pink Is Erotic: Tara wears a pink dress and her main personality trait is her enthusiasm for sex and sex education.
  • Really Gets Around: Tara and Denise are both big fans of open relationships and hook up with multiple partners. As the comic points out though, it's important to communicate to make sure you and your lover(s) have similar expectations.
  • Sex by Proxy: Christine says Tara's goals to get them "mad laid" and "live vicariously through [the girls]" sounds almost like she wants to possess them and have sex by proxy. Tara assures her she would never do that... without consent.
  • Slut-Shaming: Tara was slut-shamed when she was alive. The nude photos she had sent to one of her lovers were copied and posted around campus with the words "slut" written across them.
  • Sperm as People: In a section where Tara explains that it is possible to get pregnant on one's period, there is an illustration of a sperm in a waiting room.
  • Technical Virgin: Once the girls realize that virginity is a social construct and the exact definition varies across cultures, Christine determines that she is a virgin despite one of her previous boyfriends briefly inserting "it" into her since he withdrew it almost immediately. Christine later engages in alternate forms of sex with her boyfriend Ansh, which aligns more closely with this trope.
    • On the other hand, Denise considers herself to have lost her virginity when she first kissed a boy in the first grade!
  • Tunnel of Love: Tara uses her ghost powers to simulate a tunnel-of-love-style ride, only the topic is anal sex.
  • Unfinished Business: Tara is stuck as a ghost in the mortal world because she can't remember her death. The girls try to research her death but decide not to tell Tara, as she seems to be perfectly happy as a ghost and shows little desire to "move on".
  • You're Not My Type: Lindsey's first boyfriend breaks up with her, giving this reason. Turns out his type is petite and feminine, not an Amazonian Beauty.
