"Get that shit outta here!"

Undertakerfreak1127 a.k.a. John Danz is a prolific entertainer on YouTube who's been around since 2010. He does sports videos, game videos, movie related videos, videos that mock fanboys, the works. And then we come across the most (in)famous glut of John's videos, his rants!

John's unapologetic style of ranting is known to be rather... polarizing. Nonetheless, he has been recognized as a crucial member in the ranting community and has a decent following of subscribers.

This ranter provides examples of:

  • Accentuate the Negative: John approaches everything from this perspective.
  • Agent Scully: Though he will concede defeat once hard factual evidence comes to him, John is as of right now, very skeptical of anything related to the paranormal.
  • Attention Whore: A lot of John's "feuds" could have been avoided were it not for John's need to constantly put spotlight on himself, usually through some form of controversy with other ranters.
  • Barbarian Longhair: Used to have this style before it was cut.
  • Badass Bookworm: Natch. Jon has an aptitude for both meterology and the English language.
  • Berserk Button: Being a ranter, he naturally has a lot. Listed below, however, are a few that enrage him to the point of Tranquil Fury.
  • Born in the Wrong Century: Laments over this fact when it comes to music.
  • Broken Pedestal: Is this for a not insignificant amount of people as of 2021. Several of John's fans have had enough of his bitter, hypocritical, spiteful personality and lack of accountability.
  • Brutal Honesty: John prides himself on this trope. It's netted him a lot of backlash in the past.
  • Catchphrase: Has quite a few.
    • "Get that shit outta here!"
    • "You wanna know what gives me the red ass?"
    • "Hello, boys and girls. Undertakerfreak1127 here..."
    • "...have a good day, folks."
  • Child Hater: Not all kids, but most of them. He even made a video discussing this.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Oh absolutely, He can be very sarcastic at times, especially towards the idiots he's ranting about.
  • Didn't Think This Through: Deleted his original channel with 40k subscribers during one of his multiple "I'm not coming back to Youtube" phases. Is onto his fourth channel (at least) which only has 100 or so.
  • Early-Installment Weirdness: John's videos before he took on his ranting hobby. Even then, the difference in quality was noticeable.
  • Fanboy: Admitted to being one for Metallica.
    • He is also one for George Carlin, who is his idol and primary inspiration.
"He is what made me the angry bastard I am today."
  • Gag Penis: All 45 degrees.
  • Gasshole: Played for Laughs in the beginning of his rant on Dubstep.
  • He's Back!: As of 2015, John has started to return to a more light-hearted approach for his rants, and has in general been more productive. Subverted in that this didn't last long and he's back to being a depressed wet blanket.
  • Hidden Depths: Not only has an interest in meteorology and voice acting but is also a rather avid fan of Pokemon.
  • Insufferable Genius: This is readily apparent in some of his rants, in which he seemingly goes out of his way to be as pretentious as humanly possible. He often tries to be more verbose than his opponents to establish their "obvious" low intelligence, and masks it with rather obnoxious humor. Not to mention that all of his arguments are presented as the ultimate truth, and the subjects of his ire are treated as being woefully ignorant or detached from reality, instead of, y'know, being the bigger person in such a matter.
  • Jerkass Has a Point: Most of his anger goes towards people he feels are being idiots or spoiled. And most of the time, the viewers agree with him.
  • Leaning on the Fourth Wall: One video had one of John's female friends filming and giggling off camera as John played up to her.
  • Manchild: John's behviour has overwhelming shades of this. John will often delete or rant on people for small things such as a differing opinion.
  • Metalhead: Oh yes.
  • Moral Myopia: Got an opinion that differs to John's? Well you are wrong, deserve to be called out and have John sic his fans on you and you are an idiot, moron, fool, or whichever insult to your intelligence John wants to throw your way. Agree with John? Well it's the same opinion John has so *obviously* it's correct.
  • Nerd Glasses: Sported a pair for a while. And his rant on "gamer" girls calls out those who wear them just to appeal to nerds.
  • Never My Fault: No matter who he feuds with, no matter what the reason, no matter what the drama, it's always everybody else who started it, not John, even if John started in on them without provocation. If they called him out, they called him out and deserve what they got. If John started it, they should have been more careful in John's presence. John doesn't need to learn to walk away or ignore things, it's everyone else's fault.
  • No Social Skills: John has Asperger's syndrome, and as a result, experiences social communication issues. He admits that he is often extremely shy and usually looks away or down in conversations. Let this be noted, however, other ranters also have Asperger's Syndrome and are not as confrontational or petty as John has been known to be.
  • Not So Stoic: While normally straight-faced in his rants, there are a few rants where John will end up screaming in rage.
  • O.O.C. Is Serious Business: Usually his videos fit the mold of the cynical, sarcastic Rant Comedy trope, but there are quite a few videos that are completely serious with nary a joke to be found. Subverted at the end of some videos
  • Ordered Apology: The premise of the Juggalo apology video.
  • Poster-Gallery Bedroom: From what we see of Jon's living quarters, there are two adjacent walls, littered with various memorabilia including posters of classic rock bands such as Rush and Black Sabbath, George Carlin, sports teams (specifically the Detroit Red Wings), etc...
  • Rant Comedy: Most of the time, unless it's about something completely serious.
  • Sarcasm Mode:
    • His "apology" videos. And his general style of ranting, which is of a similar style to his good friend The Archfiend.
    • His demeanor in general comes off as sardonic, as if he's constantly mocking you.
  • Sesquipedalian Loquaciousness: As mentioned below, John has gained a strong vocabulary over the years.
  • Shut Up, Hannibal!: MrRepzion made a hostile comment towards John in which he belittled him for how he is always outshined by his (now ex) girlfriend, who treats him as her— what Repzion calls— "bottom bitch". This being an obvious attempt to anger/silence him, John surprisingly took this in stride, being more focused on Repzion's hypocritical behavior than the comment.
    • John has been on the end of several of these in recent years.
  • Suspiciously Specific Denial: You notice a lot of the more "loaded" tropes on this page seem to be written in such a way that it almost seems like someone is trying to make excuses for John?
  • Sour Outside, Sad Inside: His aforementioned depression issues made him significantly more bitter in his rants.
    • John's continued projection onto others even in 2019 when he claims he's now happy after getting married and moving to Finland showcase this even further.
  • Specs of Awesome: John sometimes wears glasses in his videos.
  • The Stoic: John usually maintains a flat demeanor.
  • Suddenly Shouting: In his rant on people who complain to flight attendants and train conductors:
"Uh, ma'am, like I just said, I'm a conductor, and these things do tend to happen SO SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH AND ENJOY THE RIDE!"
  • Take That!: At Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich in his most viewed video "How To Play Drums Like Lars Ulrich."
  • "The Reason You Suck" Speech: John's rants on other people like Onision, Shane Dawson, and Ray William Johnson. It's a staple of his channel. Ironically, John has shown a stunning inability to receive these, on the other hand.
    • Was given an epic one by a Youtuber named Damian Skyfire wherein Damian spends nearly 40 minutes dressing John down, pointing out multiple hypocritical statements John has made over the years with examples of John doing those very things, along with pointing out John's spiteful nature.
  • Toilet Humor: Usually delves into this when describing something he vehemently dislikes.
    • He even devoted an entire video as to why this brand of humor isn't indicative of immaturity.
  • Tone Shift: John takes his ranting more seriously in his newer videos.
  • Tranquil Fury: Reserves this for serious videos on topics that exceptionally piss him off (see Berserk Button above).
  • Valentine's Day Episodes: Two in total. One is a general rant and the other is a thirty-minute long catharsis taking place on Valentine's Day.
  • Very Special Episode: John's personal life rants.
