Savage Oobi is a webseries on YouTube, made by two brothers named Seth and Casey. It is set in the sunny city of Peoria in Arizona. The main characters are hand puppets in the style of the Noggin show Oobi. It also features some humans (like Grampu's friend, Bob Billy Joe) and stuffed animal characters (like Oobi's girlfriend, a cat named Pizza Pusheen).

This series contains examples of:
- Characterization Marches On: Originally, Oobi was just a mischievous kid. As the videos went on, he's become something of an Author Avatar for the creators, with his defining traits being his love of video games, his adoration for junk food, and his mental stability being much better than any of the other characters.
- Costume Evolution: In the earlier videos, Uma had a translucent blue flower (which looks more like a frozen splash of water) on her eye. In later videos, she has a tiny pink flower.
- Cranky Neighbor: The main villain of the series is the Neighbor, Oobi's neighbor who is extremely protective of his wall and goes insane when anything is thrown over it.
- Divergent Character Evolution: Oobi and Uma have gotten distinct interests, voices, and personalities over the years: Oobi has a raspy voice and loves video games and junk food, while Uma has a nasal voice and loves cars and bubbles.
- Drugs Are Bad: The moral of "Oobi Gets High".
- Hypocritical Heartwarming: Grampu likes to gang up on his own kids, but if someone else mistreats them without his permission, he's the first to defend them.
- Interspecies Romance: Oobi's girlfriend is a talking cat plushie named Pizza Pusheen.
- In-Universe Camera: The Cameraman is a recurring character, and Grampu and Bob Billy Joe often talk to him. He even "nods his head" by moving the camera up and down.
- Jitter Cam: During some of the more dramatic moments, the camera shakes a lot.
- Metal Scream: Uma is prone to this.
- New Season, New Name: The series has had a few different names: Savage Oobi, Angry Oobi, and Angry/Savage Oozi. For the sake of convenience, it is listed here as Savage Oobi (its first, longest-running, and best-known name).
- Once per Episode:
- In the earlier videos, there was always at least one usage of a music cue from the actual Oobi show.
- Regular videos always end with a card that has a moral on it.
- One-Neighbor Neighborhood: The Neighbor is the only neighbor who appears regularly, despite other houses being visible around Oobi's home.
- Papa Wolf: Grampu loves to make fun of Oobi and Uma, but when someone else crosses them, he goes to extreme lengths to defend them. A perfect example is the video "The Neighbor's Anger!", where Grampu destroys the Neighbor for being mean to Oobi.
- Precision F-Strike: Occasionally happens in the videos, mainly earlier ones.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: In "The Neighbor's Anger!", the Neighbor has a girlfriend who tells him all the reasons she won't date him anymore.
- Subverted Kids' Show: Earlier videos tried to follow this, with lots of gratuitous swearing and violence in the vein of SuperMarioLogan. In the more recent videos, the characters and stories have been fleshed out much better, with the series focusing more on their hilarious daily lives and less on shock value.
- The Speechless: In some episodes, like "Uma Choke!", the Cameraman can't speak and responds through movements of the camera.
- Tranquil Fury: Whenever Grampu gets really obsessed with something, really angry, or really shocked, he talks in a quiet voice that is almost incomprehensible.
