Nicholas "Nick" DiGiovanni (born May 19th, 1996) is an American chef and internet personality. He's famous for being a finalist on MasterChef, as well as his nice, easy-going personality.

While he was already gaining fame because of his participation on MasterChef, Nick has gained a surge of popularity when he began posting shorts on TikTok, causing him to gain around 30,000 followers daily. Since then, he gained further popularity and participated in videos/shorts with several well-known chefs such as the Golden Balance and Guga Foods.

On his YouTube channel, Nick's upload schedule is weekly. As of September 2023, the channel has 11.9 million subscribers, 11 million followers on TikTok, at one point becoming one of the fastest-growing creators on TikTok.

This chef provides examples of (his folder from MasterChef will also be mentioned here):

  • Almost Kiss: Has attempted to kiss a fish before, but was stopped when Manny looked at Nick while holding his camera.
  • Apathetic Clerk: Surprisingly subverted in one video when the drive-thru he goes through for his video doesn't have any grumpy clerks working.
  • Awkward Kiss: Nick was also shown kissing a Wendy's paper bag, while the cameraman was looking at him again, much to Nick's disappointment.
  • Bigger Is Better:
    • To say that his ten-thousand dollar Charcuterie board was loaded with ingredients around his cooking table would be an understatement.
    • Nick has made special episodes attempting to break various Guiness Records with "The Biggest Sushi roll", "The Biggest Cake Pop", "The Biggest Donut", "The Biggest Dumpling", and even "The Biggest Wellington", with none other than Gordon Ramsay as Special Guest, to the point Gordon hugs and lifts the Guiness Official off the ground.
  • The Cameo:
    • Nick has appeared in several cameos from other social meida other than MasterChef Season 11.
    • In turn, Nick has frequent collaborations with Lynja, Uncle Roger, and even with Gordon Ramsay himself, among many other creators.
  • Chekhov's Skill: As demonstrated in MasterChef, Nick is proficient at cooking savory dishes. This channel is no exception, but cranked up to eleven as he can turn a fast food into something more grand.
  • Crazy Enough to Work: Three of prominent examples include watermelon on mustard, and a frozen honey, and a smoked watermelon. The former was subverted as Nick didn't taste it and only did it for the demonstration, but he was more than pleased with how the frozen honey and a smoked watermelon turned out.
  • Deep-Fried Whatever: Several of the shorts has him doing this, but the pork cracklin is where Nick literally deep fried raw pork.
  • Fantastic Fruits and Vegetables: A realistic example. Nick always focuses on buying exotic fruits and vegetables (so he can drown the former in a sugar and make tánghúlu). His most iconic one, however, has to be his short about rose apple.
  • Food End: Every episode, Nick eats a food he made and gives his honest opinion.
  • Food Porn: It's from a MasterChef finalist, so it's a no-brainer.
  • Gold Makes Everything Shiny: In the episode "Eating Salt Bae's $1,100 Gold Steak (Challenge)", he eats (and eventually cooking in his own house), as the title says, a gold-covered steak from the iconic chef Salt Bae.
  • Iconic Outfit: There has never been a video where he doesn't wear his black T-shirt with black jeans.
  • Knife-Throwing Act: His signature move in every shorts, where he throws his signature knife to his cutting board.
  • Nice Guy: Nick has never lost his sense of humbleness and kindness, as shown in his appearances on MasterChef. As a result, it's not rare for him to throw jokes and banter at his colleagues.
  • Ramen Slurp: Done in the end of his "Tonkotsu Miso Ramen" episode.
  • Running Gag: Anytime Nick "fires" the cameraman Manny (sometimes for petty reasons).
  • Satiating Sandwich: A lot of videos/shorts are just him making burgers. The big one, though, is arguably a burger made from Japanese A5 Wagyu.
  • Special Guest: Nick has videos with The Jonas Brothers, MrBeast, among others.
  • Team Pet: Nick's hamster pet Pesto, who Nick sometimes gives a mini sample of his dishes.
  • Token Rich Student: He studied and graduated at Harvard University with a special degree in Food and Climate.
