MuchDank is an online content creator who has been making comedy videos (or "trash", as they call it) on Youtube since June 2017.

Their videos consist mainly of clips from interviews with musicians, especially hip-hop musicians, as well as other celebrities, heavily edited and/or taken out of context to make the subjects appear to say bizarre or inappropriate things, often sexual in nature. They also have a series of comedic edits of popular (mostly hip-hop) songs.

You can watch MuchDank's videos here.

MuchDank's videos provide examples of:

  • Abhorrent Admirer: In "Cardi B gets interviewed but Tim Westwood keeps hitting on her", Tim Westwood is one to Cardi.
  • Affectionate Parody: Given that virtually all of their channel's videos are edits of hip-hop songs, videos and interviews, it's clear that the creator(s) of MuchDank like at least some of the artists they parody.
  • Ambiguously Brown: Parodied in "Joe Budden Loses His Mind on The Breakfast Club", where Joe is unsure of his own race:
    Charlemagne: We black!
    Joe Budden: Who, me?
    Charlemagne: Yeah, yeah.
    Joe Budden: You think?
    Charlemagne: Yeah.
Joe Budden: I'm not sure. I'm gonna sit down and think about it for a long time.
  • Annoying Laugh: Bhad Bhabie's laugh in "Bhad Bhabie Annoys Adam22 on the No Jumper Podcast", leading Adam to text 911 for help to no avail.
  • Blatant Lies: In "Nicki Minaj gets HEATED on Live Radio":
Nicki Minaj: I'm never mad, [yells] and I've stood by that, my whole fucking career! My whole fucking career!!! [...] Oh, by the way, I lied.
  • Broken Record: A common edit in many of their videos is to repeat a certain quote many times in a row. They also make edits of songs where the end of almost every line is the same word(s) repeated.
  • Brother–Sister Incest: In "Ray J's 'UNBREAKABLE' Glasses Break his Heart":
Ray J: I love my wife. She my sister.
  • Censored for Comedy: A common edit in some of their videos is to bleep out something innocuous someone said in the original video to make them appear to be cursing or saying something sexual. "USHER GETS FREAKY WITH JAMES CORDEN!" does the latter quite extensively.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Since most of their videos are made of edited clips of real-life interviews with people speaking calmly, they often come off as this in the edits.
  • Low Count Gag: In "Rick Ross has the BIGGEST What?!":
Angela Yee: You collect watches, right?
    Rick Ross: I do.
Angela Yee: How many watches do you have?
    Rick Ross: One, baby.
  • Malicious Misnaming:
    • Ebro and Rosenberg do this to Lil Xan in "Lil Xan Gets Bullied During an Interview":
Ebro: Ah, little Alexander, how you doing, man?
      Lil Xan: No, Diego.
Ebro: Maybe his name is Xander.
Lil Xan: Umm, no. Diego. My name—
      Rosenberg: Lil Xan!
      [...]
Rosenberg: Xan, Diego, none of them coming back!
    • Done by Wallo267 to Meek Mill in "Meek Mill is SUS":
Wallo267: Now, we out here, listen, it's going down. Meek Milly, listen...
Meek Mill: [double takes] Call me by my real name!
      Wallo267: Yeah, OK. Meek Chilly—
Meek Mill: Man, that's kind of degrading.
  • Manipulative Editing: The entire premise of the channel, Played for Laughs.
  • Mind Screw: Some of their videos make absolutely no sense.
  • Name Amnesia: In "Cardi B Forgets Her Own Name In This Interview":
    Nardwuar: Who are you?
    Cardi B: I'm pregnant.
    [...]
    Cardi B: Mariah Carey?
    Nardwuar: Mariah Carey?
Cardi B: Yeah! ...No. Do you know?
    Nardwuar: You are Cardi...?
    Cardi B: Bacterial Vaginosis...? No.
    [...]
    Cardi B: Madonna! [laughs]
    Nardwuar: You are Cardi...?
    Cardi B: ...Bitch.
  • Non Sequitur: Their edits frequently make appropriate-in-context statements sound like these.
  • Parental Incest: Young Thug, with both his mother and (implied to be) his own children, In "Young Thug REVEALS ALL in This Interview":
Young Thug: You know, my mom got eleven kids.
Big Boy: Yeah, and you got ten kids.
Young Thug: Yes. I'm big on, like, incest. My mom had eleven kids.
Big Boy: And you got ten— oh, okay, I got you.
Young Thug: Pure, you know what I'm sayin'? Natural... incest.
Big Boy: Yeah, and that's beautiful. How old are your kids?
Young Thug: Uh, I don't know, but you know, sex don't got a age.
Big Boy: Are you fucking serious?
    Young Thug: [laughs] Yes.
  • Race-Name Basis: Parodied in "Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner Question Their Relationship":
Kylie Jenner: What's one of the nicknames I call you?
Travis Scott: Hmm... I don't know. Black.
    Kylie Jenner: Correct.
  • Recurring Element: Weird sound effects - particularly the sound of a staple gun - used almost every time someone claps their hands or taps their fingers.
  • Rhyming with Itself: They have a series of videos with rap songs edited to replace the end of almost every line with the same word(s) as the previous line.
  • Repetitive Audio Glitch: Shows up in a number of their videos, including their first video, "Left off Bad and Boujee (HUH?)".
  • Screen Shake: Happens when Lizzo slams her hands on the table in "Lizzo gets TRIGGERED on Live Radio".
  • Self-Deprecating Humor: All of their videos end telling users to "subscribe for more trash".
  • Sensory Abuse: Pops up in a number of their videos with loud, heavily distorted audio and/or visuals.
  • Toilet Humor: Constantly. If anyone says "shit" at some point in the original video, chances are the edited version will make one or multiple jokes involving that clip.
  • Trauma Button: In "Nicki Minaj Gets Triggered by Cardi B", Zane Lowe's mentioning of Cardi causes this for Nicki, with her having flashbacks of Cardi's achievements before having a breakdown.
Nicki Minaj: With, um, Cardi B... you know, she's just *bleep* painful, and, you know, *bleep* her.
  • Visual Pun:
    • An edit in "Kevin Gates is NASTY" where Kevin says "I don't hold anything back, I'm transparent", the transparency grid used in Photoshop is imposed on him as if he were a translucent image.
    • In "Meek Mill is SUS",
    • In "Nicki Minaj Gets HEATED on Live Radio", Nicki says "let's just take a moment to let that sink in", before a sink slides in in the background.
    • In "Ray J's 'UNBREAKABLE' Glasses Break his Heart", when Ray J says "I have tons of pairs" (of glasses), we see a crate of pears on the floor.
  • Voice of the Legion: Shows up frequently, usually to make an out-of-context soundbite sound more disturbing. Examples:
    • In "Joe Budden Loses His Mind on The Breakfast Club":
Joe Budden: You're right! He shouldn't come up here. Kill him.
    • In "Cardi B Responds to Hate Comments About Dora The Explorer":
Cardi B: And, the people that leave good comments, um... suck a dick and die. Choke on the dick.
    • Repeatedly in "Kanye West Breaks The Simulation with Jimmy Kimmel":
Kanye West: You know, you're in a simulation. [crowd gasps]
      [...]
Kanye West: I love Jimmy, but I thought about killing you.
      • Towards the end, Jimmy Kimmel has this as well when he laughs after leashing Kanye with a rope.
