Brush on the left, Pearl on the right, and the jungle surrounding them both. All you need to know about this show.
Epic Jungle Show is a web-animated series created by HandsPlasticX and released on April 7th, 2021 after a sneak peek on Valentines Day. Despite the cartoon following the Object Show genre, it is not competition-based or even a slice-of-life, instead being a comedy-adventure show.

Meet Pearl and Brush, two knuckleheads who find themselves stranded in an uncharted, overly dense jungle for some reason with nobody except each other for company. From there, they'll have to use their wits (not really), (lack of) skills and surrounding environment in order to escape the titular jungle.

Can the duo survive out of there or will their stupidity be the end of them? Probably the latter but better watch the episodes just in case.

Get yourself lost with the following tropes:

  • Actor Allusion: Joystick making an appearance from Wicked Widgets is due to HandsPlasticX voicing him in that show while Glockenspiel is one of Hicc's (aer voice actor) OCs whom he recommended on the show.
  • Alliterative Title: All the episode titles such as "Fruit Frenzy", "Shimmering Spotlight" and the upcoming "Poison Pearlharmonic" as well as the Show Within a Show, Fight or Fall.
  • Animate Inanimate Object: This object show stars Brush, a bristle brush, and Pearl, a freshwater pearl, which you can already tell by their self-explanatory names.
  • Author Appeal: HandsPlasticX tends to write characters who are friends with opposing dynamics like our main duo, the smart yet goofy Pearl and the tough but Book Dumb Brush, and all the contestant pairs in Fight or Fall.
  • Bait-and-Switch: Done at the end of the first episode. When the two protagonists finally get the fruit, Pearl looks at his fruit and assumes that it might be poisonous. Brush disregards this, and then it immediately cuts to a grave on a rainy night with Pearl mourning over it. This may seem like Brush has actually died but lo and behold he's standing next to him well alive and still continuing to eat the fruit. Turns out Pearl was just mourning over a bug he accidentally stepped on earlier.
  • Blue Oni, Red Oni: Due to Author Appeal, the show focuses on pairs with contrasting personalities such as our main duo.
    • Pearl is the comically overly cautious Red Oni to Brush's dry-wit, tough-as-nails Blue Oni. However, their survival strategies in the jungle are the complete inverse with Brush being a straightforward risk-taker and Pearl making overly elaborate plans and outright fears unpredictable outcomes.
    • The Fight or Fall contestants have this treatment as well
      • Glockenspiel is in a constant state of exhaustion and exasperation (as highlighted by aer Exhausted Eye Bags) in contrast to the lively Joystick.
      • Bowl's calm and rational nature clashes with the pompous, Jerkass attitude of Cologne.
      • Baguette takes on an easy-going but passive role in the competition due to getting completely sidetracked by their endless stories. Leek, on the other hand, picks up the slack as the determined athlete he is to win Fight or Fall no matter the cost.
  • In Medias Res: The story begins with our protagonists already well lost in the jungle, skipping over the part on why or how they got stuck there in the first place.
  • Minimalist Cast: Epic Jungle Show only has the two main characters and nobody else despite the jungle's vastness spanning for miles in every direction. There are other characters such as the Fight or Fall cast seen in the second episode, but it's debatable whether they're real or part of Pearl's dream.
  • Noodle Incident: There's currently no explanation as to how Brush and Pearl's jungle situation exactly happened.
  • Where the Hell Is Springfield?: The jungle's location, par usual with object show settings, is never disclosed.
