Mortal Kombat 9:

  • Feel free to beat your annoying friend to a pulp for being a jerk, even if they're just being a jerk and aren't hurting anyone in the process. Once the fight ends, he'll instantly forgive you.
  • Breaking someone's neck with thousands of citizens watching in-between a match doesn't count as cheating.
  • Cheating is punished with death. Invading a realm after you were sworn not to is perfectly acceptable, however, as long as it's within Exact Words.
  • You shouldn't be mad at your mentor, even though following his plans led to the death of your friends and the victory of the bad guys.

Mortal Kombat X:

  • Killing a legal executioner to save a thief is acceptable as long as you win a sparring match with the realm's ruler. Long story short: the law and order system is easily broken.
  • Seeking revenge on the true murderer of your family and allies after years of his lies and the death of the wrong culprit is a foolish move that will backfire immediately.
  • If the empress refuses to side with the local realm, then you should start a war against her. And when you win the war, imprison said realm's people, even after they've helped you and were about to leave on good terms. It's not like you'll get called out for it.
  • If you're given the choice to side with an Omnicidal Maniac, who wants to destroy your realm next, or to team up with the military, who previously helped you out, to save your friendly neighbor realm, make sure to choose the former. You'll be Easily Forgiven for it, even though you nearly doomed all of the realms and yourself.

Mortal Kombat 11:

  • If you meet the man who imprisoned you for years, offer him refugee. He'll definitely bury the hatchet right then and there. But you should never forgive the race that worked with him and execute them without remorse, even when your lover begs and reasons to spare them. Alternatively, you shouldn't hold a grudge against the race that worked with The Caligula, even though they've slaughtered millions under his name.
  • If your teacher criticizes you for being brash and immature, you should kidnap and enslave his students, who did nothing to spite you, and throw a tantrum when he finds out what you've done. Finally, he'll see you as the confident and mature warrior that you are.
  • Vow never to use the amulet that corrupted your future self. But, hey, might as well carry it around just in case!
  • If you're a bad guy, it doesn't matter if you were mistaken for a murderer and then wrongfully killed. Justice is only for the heroes.
  • The gods shouldn't intervene in mortals' lives and should let them be free to live as they wish... Even if they will end up killing and enslaving each other.
  • The guy who makes puns about your elemental powers is being a big manchild. But when you make similar puns about yourself, you are a wise and mature warrior.
  • Jacqui's Ending: The world is better off if you were never born.
